Épisode #1.1

Jenna Garvey, a teacher with a wild side, recently promoted to head of department, but her nightmare begins, as she's accused of sleeping with a student.

A solid start, it's a decent story, it gets you thinking, it is however boosted by the charismatic, wonderful Sheridan Smith.

Jenna is a little dubious as a character, she's definitely pretty wild, in this early stage it's almost impossible to judge if she's guilty or not, we've only really had one side of her character.

It's very well made, it's well acted, it's nicely produced, I'm sure this will spring into life in later episodes.

Solid, 6/10.

This a poem I wrote nearly 40 years ago about my English teacher.

This reminded me of that but I don't think my teacher went clubbing.

The sexual distraction hides the lack of quality here.

Why was it filmed in Hungary? Surely, there must be plenty of people and places willing to be used in this country; especially after the pandemic.

I appreciate that Britain has fallen out with the EU since Brexit but this collaboration seems daft to me.

I usually like Sheridan Smith and like her in the skirt and heels even more but why the false teeth?

Kelvin Fletcher brings an earthiness to events and hopefully the cardinal relationship they have will up the show.

Ian Puleston-Davies is an under-rated actor end isn't even credited here.

Hopefully, we will see more of him as the week progresses.
