After watching all of the first season, this show is actually pretty good. I don't think it's as good as Meta Runner, but it's still a good watch. The animation looks really good as it parodies a video game. The voice acting is great as always. The comedy is solid despite a few forced moments. Even though I wasn't hooked on some characters initially, the characters grew on me the more I watched. That being said, this show is somewhat different show from Meta Runner. There are some emotional moments in Sunset Paradise, but there is also comedy involved too. While Meta Runner didn't focused much on comedy, Sunset Paradise is a bit more comedic.

I initially said that the show was good, and I still think the show is pretty good as it concluded. The pilot was great, the majority of episodes were good, and the season finale was amazing. I do consider it around an 8 or 8.5/10 because while it does have a few forced moments, I still liked the show. Some people may not like it because of Meggy, but I decided to give this one a chance; this show was good by the end, and I liked Meggy in this show. I appreciate all the work at Glitch Productions, and I wish the best for the team in the near future. Overall, I do think this show is good, and it's worth a watch.

Another great creation from the Lerdwichagul brothers. This web series actually takes place in the SMG4 universe and stars Meggy, who is trying to find her calling.

The animation is stellar and the writing is good. Has tons of laugh out loud moments throughout each episode. Characters really grow on you. Even has a twist that is surprisingly emotional. If you enjoy SMG4, you WILL enjoy this show. It even has a very good message.

I came across this purely by accident and I love it. At first I wasn't sure about it. My first reaction was what the heck is this!? I'm an animation fanatic so I decided to give it a shot. The look and style of animation is totally different than anything else and I like that. Different can be a very good thing. At first I thought it was just a kids show but I quickly changed my mind. All in all a great show. I want to see more.

It has great animation, suprisingly talented voice performances, and amazing humor. Can't wait for more!

We most know her and all she's been through thanks to SMG4 YouTube channel, it was indeed a bit needed for what is pressented here.

We follow Meggy, our no-longer a squid who had a problem with her inner self and went to a vacation. I am glad that "Vacation Meggy" went on vacation; this is a cute, funny and impressive adventure. The sound effects, overall animation and decorations look stunning and way different from the previous show "Meta Runner"; which helps to stand out and create it's own cute characters and plots. Voice acting, really worked well here specially for Meggy, Auri and many others, plus the facial expressions they are all unique and lovely (mostly when needed). The plot is a bit simple at first, but grows into something bigger later.

My only issue, models sometimes feel static and not so free to movement; like robots with predeterminated moves and for some more frenetic moves they don't follow as intended; this can turn down a bit the action but still will be tolerated thanks to the points described above.

If you like SMG4, then watch this but be concerned that is different from the YouTube content and also different from "Meta Runner". It is very nice done, Meggy needed this at that Sunset Paradise.

Three episodes in and I'm disappointed because I've seen constant animation clipping, the most stock text I've ever seen and just bad animation. The only good thing about this show is the facial expressions. I'm very surprised the animation is bad because this came after Meta Runner which looks absolutely gorgeous. In summary, it's just a huge disappointment.

The pilot to this show had the potential to be something special, and it just... wasn't. A few models and bits of animation felt so lazy and, especially comparing to Meta Runner (which is superior in pretty much every way), the characters and the way they interact felt either off or uninteresting.
