Tronc de Train: Le Film

"Tromba Trem: O filme" takes you to that fantastic world already established in the tv series, but with a big new side of the story: what is the deal with that airship.

The movie might not be perfect because the ending is not very definitive... But that's all, I don't have any other bad thing to write about this beautiful brazilian animation. The art style, the characters, the comedy, even the drama is well made and satisfying, and Dudinha... what can I say about this pure little cute anteater... her presence is already worth the shot.

If you are brazilian or like Brazil in any way, give it a chance, and if, like me, you watched the tv series as a kid... stop wasting your time, it will be one of the best experiences of your life.

After spending some time watching the TV series, I found many pros and cons to the series. The cartoon started off weakly, but there was an improvement in the animation and script in the second season, but there were still some flaws that led to some bad episodes and unlikable characters. I gave the movie a chance and it surprised me, it seems like the studio decided to focus a lot to bring something decent and not just another random and nonsense story, since this is ending the story started in the series. The movie still had a few problems like Gajah still being flanderized as an arrogant and selfish character in some scenes like he was in the last two seasons of the show, but otherwise the story is worth watching mainly because of the plot twist in the ending.
