As Hannah deals with a break-up from her relationship, Emily, Lauren, and Mara help her process through a living room debrief with wine. Hannah expresses her desire to put herself back out there, enlisting the help of her roommates--who are more familiar with dating apps than her. Hannah decides to look into Challah Back, a Jewish dating app. The roommates help her build a profile and start swiping.

Emily learns that her otherwise perfect new boyfriend isn't Jewish, despite his very Jewish name. Her roommates aren't sure why this is such a big deal- after all, Emily herself is barely religious. And so she sets out to reconnect with her Judaism.

Though Mark's parents try to be welcoming, a few missteps and odd comments lead to an awkward dinner that leaves Lauren questioning her interfaith relationship.
