However, its weakness lies in its flat and somewhat repetitive tempo. Some scenes feel overly drawn-out without significant story progress, which might bore audiences who expect a dynamic plot. I've known about this movie since its release. Very unique. Different. A standout performance from most of the actors. Highly recommended for horror fans. The story is about mysticism and folklore. One that few countries know about and this movie delivers rather well in telling the stories from its country of Indonesia. The female lead plays her character convincingly and one that works rather well on the screen. The movie is shot almost hand held and has a Blair Witch Project vibe to it. Indonesia is breaking boundaries with horror and this is another fine example of superb storytelling. Well done to everyone involved in the making of this movie.
