Avis à la une
I'm not sure if I like this or not till the point where I don't know what top say.
This could habe been a great drama if it wasn't for the spineless though very sweet main lead. The main character is handsomne and extremely arrogant with an emotional past linguering all around him. His best friend seems to fall in love with the same girl.
The jealous shrew is who she is just beacause her friend, her mentor, her idol, takes her love interest.
This has so much potential but something is missing all around. I watched it to the end just to find out how it ends and who stays with the l;eading man.

Japanese Drama "Momoiro Anzuiro Sakuro" is a ridiculous drama that has the potential to be romantic and, indeed, it does have some romantic moments, but the rest of it felt forced and forceful.
The drama had two things that brings it down, the aggressive male lead and the childish female lead who let everyone use her as a pushover. It almost felt like the romance wasn't even her choice, rather, she just couldn't say no to the guy. Actually, she ask him to stop in many office scenes, but he just ignored her and tried to make it look like a game towards her. As for the romance with the second lead, it lucked chemistry right from the start. At least the performances were good. But the rest was just ridiculous.
So, overall, 1.5 out of 10.

Called "The Color Of Romance" on Viki. Here is the thing - the male lead Takumi Kizu was so so handsome (one of the best male leads I have seen in a short J-Drama) and brought all the sexiness to this entire series. Without him this would be a failure. Absolutely did not like the theme of it or the script so had to take off 2 stars - didn't like that they made him so forceful at the beginning with his approach - borderline go to jail but I guess the female lead never actually said NO since she was such an easy piece to get used - but his lovemaking became more tender and loving as the series went and he obviously had issues. I don't like to see best friends hurting each other - they were such close friends and I guess in reality that does happen though. I wish someone would tell me (from the US) if this is the real Japanese culture since I have seen so many with the same type of themes or if this is just "what's in" to watch right now (getting ratings) so they produce it. So wondering if it is a ratings thing (R rated) or if it is really the culture. One thing I do notice is that the male leads are so so hot while the female leads always seem to fall short - all I can say is that they are extremely lucky to get those rolls with the leads. Is that the best there is? The second male lead did a great job in his role as well.
