First, you can't question its vfx as it is made on a limited budget. Still, they have done an ok job in bringing in some video game like vfx for that budget. 1 genuine star for that.

Now coming to the main film. It's plot is pretty similar to "The burning train" except that here we have a person in danger on a flight.

Where do i even start mincing this film? Clearly this film is made by a bunch of clowns who don't know the physics and mechanics of a plane. The plane does exactly what the makers want it to do. On autopilot, it happily sways here and there in style and in real no plane in autopilot even in a storm does that. Then , we have a massive blast the the rear end of the plane and the result is a medium sized hole on the body of the plane and some burns. I'll tell you, a blast like that would literally rip off the tail and engines behind but it does non. Utter illogical nonsense. There are many more, don't want to mention so that the review doesn't get too big.

Next is the unintentionally (un)funny sequences even in between crisis. What's the point? It's not funny at all, rather it irritates you. Hero playing golf on thr plane to kill time, or trying to break the cockpit door all these scenes try to look funny but they are not. Even the hero has a terrible entry in the film, talking his gf or wife whatever (while fighting goons) who's taking a poop on the toilet , complains of no toilet paper and next moment she's up from the commode seat roaming about without probably wiping.

Acting is pathetic. The main hero can't act at all. He tries looking like a superstar on a plane giving him slo mo shots but rather he looks flop. He can't make you laugh even. Even talented actors like Pawan Malhotra can't save this film. Others are all below average.

Please don't watch this film solely bcz you see so many 10 star ratings, it may be given by the lead actors local fans. I honestly never have heard of this actor and he needs a lot of training. As for the film, it had an interesting plot in hand that could have been a nail biting thriller but the clown makers completely ruined the film making it look half like a bad comedy and half like a stupid illogical thriller (there is no thrill).

Storyline is good. Visuals were good. Hero was a bit of overacting. The story is really nice and good for a 2nd go but take somebody who can do a better acting. Other actors didn't get much chance to act and I know they are really good. All my ratings are for visuals and story. A full on entertainment. I promise won't get bored.

Good story executed well. The direction by Suraj Joshi shows the experience hand behind executing such a thriller. The lead Mohit Chadda did justice and pulled it off very well.

First of all, you should watch this film because in Bollywood it's rare to see a film on aviation disaster. The film tried very hard to show the lead character as cool as possible. In my opinion, it was the major negative point of this film. Because it led to many unnecessary moments. Somehow you've to sit for the first 30 mins because after that the movie became quite interesting and engaging.

If our lead was not given any dialogue, maybe it would've been looked weird, but the movie would've been much better then. Because the dialogues given to the lead were another negative point. But liked the acting of Mohit Chadda. Despite having some negative points I'll say to watch this as it's a very well try from the team. They've also announced a sequel in 2023, hope they'll correct their mistakes in that.

Story / Plot - 1/10- Not a believable plot. No one is going to hire a mercenary to kill the Co Pilot and innocent Stewardess and jump out of a cruising flight after leaving the sedated hero with a time bomb hidden somewhere. The villain uncle could have easily got him out for a Supari of 50 K in Mumbai rather than wasting his brain on setting up a "Mission Impossible" to kill the hero.

Screen Play- First Half 1/10, Second half 4 / 10. Too much of unnecessary drags and humanly impossible stunt scenes.

Dialogue- 5/10- Hero should have talked less and used his brains more.

Acting- 8/10. Good actors. But the screen play and dialog writers competed not to bring the best out of the characters.

Cast- 9/10. I believe in fresh blood . So full credit to Chaddha as well as the veterans. Even the ATC lady did a good job.

Cinematography / Visual effects - 10/10. If I ever make a movie, I will hire Crazyentertsinment team. Well Done guys..!!

Overall 7/10 - Why ? Firstly, Because Indian movies do not bet high on aviation thrillers. Kudos for selecting the genre. Secondly, the visual graphical were of high dedication, Thirdly dedication of the team and actors with whatever flaws they had...!!

Fantastic movie worthy of a great entertainment value... awesome effort by the directors and the entire cast...

The movie starts with a nice bit of romance ,then turns at exciting track. Mohit acted well..... Director tried his best with unique story.

Overall good attempt.

Flight (2021) : Movie Review -

The trailer of Flight had kinda gave me Idea that how it's gonna turn but still I refused to skip it. Sometimes the final product comes out much better then what is expected and that slight ray of hope should always be kept by a movie fan. However, with this film Flight, nothing sort of that happened. Flight was a low budget attempt already but the overall scenario and other aspects of filmmaking aren't worthy either. This flight of filmmaking is brutally banged, Hijacked and blasted by the entire team.

So, Flight is a story of Businessman Ranveer Malhotra, who against all the odds, has to face deadly obstacles on a plane in order to survive after being trapped in a conspiracy by his haters. The story seems very interesting when you look at it but the idea isn't well explored and well presented anywhere. At one moment it looks a gripping thriller, on the next moment it turns sarcastic and funny in serious situations and then how far it goes is just a matter of passing time with the use of typical masala elements with filmy flavour.

In the acting departement not a single convincing performance was found during the 110 minutes. The first scene of the protagonist (Rahul Chadda) when he's off against the baddies to smash them, he suddenly tries to be funny on the telephonic conversation throughout the entire 5 minutes sequence of cat and mouse game until he knocks them all out within few seconds at last. I didn't understand whether he was trying to be macho or filmy freak who delivers filmy dialogues during serious situations. Just bare the new stars but even well known actors like Pavan Malhotra and Zakir Hussain also doesn't hit anything on their level. As a whole, the acting departement is a disaster, if that's not an understatement.

Flight could have emerged a decent flick despite an experimental theme like mayday adventure thriller but the basic sense of storytelling seems blasted and demolished even before it takes off. The technical aspects are somehow watchable because the theme was new so we didn't actually expect anything and that helps. Otherwise, the known terms like Screenplay, Grip, Dialogues, Music, Background Score, Production design and Direction are on a bad level and such that one won't mind leaving this flight off at halfway. Overall, Flight is failed attempt to try a new idea but with outdated methods and abominable presentation. SKIP THIS CRAP !

Very very commendable first film. Unusual plot line, the editing keeps you on your toes, well researched and has a twist at the end that leaves you wondering what's next! Kudos to #teamFlight.

I like to watch Bollywood movies because I love the musical numbers put in the middle of a movie that make zero sense. Unfortunately, this does not have that. Instead, it's a terrible movie that appears to be written by 13 year olds. It's hard to believe any adult with the power to get a movie made wrote this awful script. The whole concept is ridiculous.

I assume the lead "actor" (who is just AWFUL) is a big action star in India. He has "fight" scenes where it's painfully clear he has no fighting ability. He's pushing and kicking guys who just let him win the same way you had play fights with your friends when you were eight. He is supposed to be "cool" but it's embarrassing watching him. He's not a good actor and is not believable as a "tough guy" in any sense. I assume folks in India like this guy but in America he wouldn't make it as an extra.

The stuff on the plane is just dumb. There is a "beautiful" stewardess who has the teeth of the It's Alive baby, it's hard to believe this was the person chosen for that role. It's odd that half the time they're speaking Hindi and half English (I had subtitles). I'm not sure why.

The CGI is from around 1998. I mean, if you're going to spend the money for CGI, get GOOD CGI. There was some budget on this movie I assume.

If they would have just thrown in a dance number out of the blue for no reason like most Bollywood movies, I would have upped my rating a couple stars. But this is dreadful.

One of the best movie with great anction and thriller.

I loved the new concept. Perfectly executed. Worth watching.

Absolutely loved the movie because of it's story line, amazing visual effects, cinematography and direction. The BGM is also very nice. Dialogues of main character were little bit filmy but I think makers of the movie had the intension to portray the main lead in that way only.

This is a wonderful movie with ultimate suspense and thrill. Flow of events is marvelous and exciting. A must watch movie. 👍

Sheer dedication, immense hardwork, genuine attempt. Go and watch the movie for these 3 things. The makers seem true towards the project. Great VFX, good performances and good direction make this one stand out from others. Go watch this with your family.

A must watch movie who loves some action and great acting by Mohit.

After this pandemic it was my first movie and the experience was really very very good.

Waiting for it's next part in 2023.
