Carol's Christmas

This was way off from the other movies, if had paid would be demanding money back & more. If you are looking for a different ending from the others, this is it.

I am not a fan of the constant remaking of the same 'A Christmas Carol' story over and over, but this looked like it had a different set of characters so I gave it a shot. No...same thing. It's 'A Christmas Carol' in modern day, but for some reason the ghosts still talk in an Old English sort of way. The dialog/acting is not really up to par, and there are MANY audio issues where the background music drowns out the dialog.

Looking at the credits, there seemed to be a thousand people involved in this production, but that did not save it. This is just a bad rendition of 'A Christmas Carol'. Watch some other version.

First of all, who shot this boring mess?! The cinematographer is not listed on the credits. I suspect that it's this guy, David S Womack Lol! Sign up for cinematic lighting 101 class and then try again! The acting is wooden and the storyline is an overall fail. And where in the world did the music come from?!

Carol's Christmas (2021) is a movie I recently watched on Amazon Prime. The storyline follows an independent woman set in her ways on running her businesses, achieving her wealth and treating people like they're all beneath her. As Christmas approaches, which she could care less about, those around her hope she sees the errors of her ways.

This movie is directed by David S Womack (Body Count) in his directorial debut and stars Lauren Cakes (We Extra), Lindsey Cruz (Neon), Brenda Daly (Abigail Haunting) and Trap Gambino (Killer Popcorn).

The storyline seemed a bit far fetched based on the setting and era, which is essentially "A Christmas Carol" in present day Las Vegas. The Dickens terminology worked into the interactions seemed forced and awkward. Many of the conversations were also awkward and didn't seem natural. Ill give the scammer at the door credit, he had some good jokes. The ghosts were more unique than good. The concluding premise was actually very good and I liked it, but they should have shown the scene rather than hearing sound effects and cutting away.

Overall the writing and execution wasn't as good as the premise and conclusion. I'd score this uneven movie a 3/10 and recommend skipping.

I am currently watching this movie and it is the most dreadful piece of work I've ever witnessed. The acting is atrocious, the lighting is poor, the sound is abysmal. It makes me sad to give this rating but it's the truth. It's clear the budget was $100 for costumes and hair.

The concept is interesting and had this been executed correctly, it would have been a decent project. I'm trying to stick it out and not turn it off as it's only an hour but this is BAD!!!!! It's clear the Ghost of Christmas Present is wearing a sheet with his Santa hat. I just can't and neither should you. This is BAD!!
