Startlingly bad

What a load of drivel. Pathetic in it's scripting, 5 minutes of information drawn out to an hour, full of emotionally out-of-control actors prancing around over self-induced first-world problems. I tried watching it to look for real help in re-doing a garden, but this was a total waste of time. It's as bad as any TV that I've ever seen.

A typical quote: "So you've trained as a yoga instructor; is that something that you want to do?" Duh.

What a waste of money for the sub-standard makeovers.

Unrealistic budgets for most people

Most ordinary people don't have this sort of money to spend on a garden makeover so the show is not really relevant in the real world in which most of us live. My advice.....stick to watching Garden Rescue with Charlie and the Rich Brothers!!

Does it never rain in England??

Designs are gimmicky and mostly impractical, a bit drawn out, not a patch on its sister show: Your Home Made Perfect, would be better if it was 30 mins and how about showing us some of these gardens in the rain? One couple spent 20 grand and they didn't even get a covered area to sit out in the rain. I also laughed when the designer said she didn't want to distract from the lovely view and her design had all these ugly pipes and upright posts everywhere, like that isn't distracting!

Realistic

It's finally good to see realistic budgets for intricate designs. Garden rescue etc give the general public a ridiculously cheap view without labour costs etc. This program takes everything into account and some really nice ideas aswell.
