Subpar Sequel

Definitely a step down from the first one. Very formulaic (especially the ending) and some very annoying scenes with Manny. The movie never felt like Christmas time despite the decorations.

escapist holiday fun

Was stuck watching 18 hours of bollywood trash on an international flight home for the holidays and this was waiting for me when i got home. It was heaven after all that cr-p! These two are so cute together. It's a lighthearted fun holiday romance, and it's great at being that. Like a lot of christmas romcoms its light on the christmas but heavy on fun and good feelings. Would love to see more of these two.

My BF and I loved this!

My BF and I were looking for a cozy movie to watch together and chose this. It was exactly what we were looking for. Just a feel good movie that had us smiling throughout. We noticed afterwards that the couple is married in real life and Lauren Swickard also wrote the movie! What an incredible talent!

Not as good as the first one

Maybe it was a mistake watching this right after the first one. It wasn't bad but somehow missed the charme of the first movie. They still had a storyline around the farm but that seemed pretty random too. At that point I started to get the vibe that Manny and the guy from Josephs old work were sublty going somewhere so it didn't make sense to me.

It's still a nice romance and I always enjoy sequels to find out what happened but it's not cheesy enough for a good christmas watch.

Highly Recommend!

I saw this trending at the top of Netflix and decided to watch it. I honestly loved it. The storyline was entertaining and there were a few good laughs. The chemistry between the two leads is great but Lauren Swickard really carries the film. I'm excited to see what this team does next.

Half an hour in, Joseph, Lauren and Victoria ride the elevator from their balcony suite, on one of the upper floors of the hotel, down to the lobby level where the roof garden is located. However, a shot of the elevator's floor indicator shows the elevator going up, not down.
