Avis à la une
A very unusual movie and tricky to review. The script reads like it should fit in the "torture porn" genre -- a strangely popular film theme in 2024 -- but no, it doesn't. On diggimg deeper, we realize that is because the script was written by one of the three female leads. Which is also unusual. It is clearly a low-budget indie, yet it runs for almost two hours, a length usually reserved for Hollywood blockbusters. Unusual. For most of its run-length, it can't seem to decide if it wants to be a police procedural, or a character study of women in jeopardy. Because of this indecision, it ultimately fails at both. Yet the production values are excellent and it does hold the attention. ((Designated "IMDb Top Reviewer." I had zero expectations when I watched this little Indy film. I have a strong appreciation for horror & suspense films, but I hate over the top torture films.
I was so glad this wasn't that. The story follows a few woman that are kidnapped and chained together in a house. There is a lot of suspense and psychological tensions throughout the film. The acting is solid and the production value is strong.
A lot of the film is shot in Philly and I found the story line to be very original. So many films if they aren't fast and furious for most of the film, fall off the radar and people don't give them a chance. This film really needs to be viewed from start to finish to appreciate it.

What a nice, solid, gritty, low-key-thriller. I say "low-key" because the whole story just has this all encompassing ominous sense of dread throughout; it's like the filmmakers are saying "the world is a a nasty, bad stuff happens every day and this is just one of those stories." Nice production values and cinematography. One thing that really stood out for me was how well-developed the three female leads are, they could have easily been stereotypical one dimensional victims. Instead, the film does a impressive job of reminding the audience that these characters could be your sister or your girlfriend and this could happen to them.
In Philadelphia, the lesbian English tutor Callie Holloway (Aimee Theresa) is kidnapped while jogging, locked in the basement of a house and forced to have intercourses with the abductor. A couple of months later, the psychologist Danay Edwards (Sophia Lucia Parola) is also kidnapped by the same man and forced to the same conditions as Callie. Philadelphia PD Detectives Theresa Dellassandro (Jamie Kerezsi) and Marcus Bridgeman (Dax Richardson) are investigating the cases and trying to find anything in common. When the bartender Marly Collum (Jennifer M. Kay) is also kidnapped by the man while going home, her new boyfriend Keith Bradberry (Patrick Hickman) reports her disappearance to the police and is interviewed by Dellassandro and Bridgeman that believe he may be a suspect. But soon a parking ticket provides a clue to be followed by them. Meanwhile, the women are raped every day by the maniac.
"Last Known Location" (2024) is a surprisingly great thriller not available in Brazil. The screenplay is tense and anguishing, with the three women submitted to humiliating conditions and abuses. The plot point is not expected and shows how insane the brothers were. The conclusion with a happy ending is unusual, but refreshing, in this type of story. My vote is seven.

Great Movie! Love the ending! Very suspenseful! The actors and actresses did a nice job. I really liked how it got us hooked in the very beginning. The ending had a neat twist. Not what I had expected at all. Very good storyline. I like how they tied all three of the characters together. The male detective was very funny. Will definitely recommend this movie to others. It had a combination of humor and suspense. It was very believable. The opening was very engaging. The music throughout the movie was well thought out. I like the idea of all of the flashbacks....especially when the therapist was a young girl.
