This is an interesting movie!

Actually, after seeing the movie, I am interested now to read the novel that the movie is based on. Just curious what are the similarities and differences.

The movie is interesting, mysterious, kinda weird and keeps you guessing. I guess the point of the movie is that death can mark someone's life profoundly and leave the lasting marks. Only when you set yourself free of the past ( by suicide, or new,real love ) you can go on living as a living person and not to be 'emerged' in death.

I like the ending of the film and returning of the girls. That keeps you guessing whether the main character is a good guy or bad guy. Bad guy because of his help to one of the girls.

All in all, seven from me.

What is death and what comes after it? Is it the end or does anything come after it? Like an eternal "stinger" that is tagged to a movie? Those are not questions that are important to the movie itself or are going to be answered here. But the movie does have an obsession with death. The main character to be more precise.

Our main character while not a role model, is very enticing and is able to keep us more than interested in his motives and his journey. Which is the reason why the movie does work. I'd say the viewer wants to see where this is going. Not so much hoping for a success (more likely to be the contrary), but to see where this is heading and what the message of the movie is ... maybe the answer will not be completely satisfying though
