Yes, an Indian-produced English dub can be streamed on Netflix.

The lack of police in most scenes is attributed to two reasons:

• Firstly, Balbir Singh is the richest man in India and in fact rich enough to cover up Ranvijay's crimes with ease.

• Secondly, the lack of police is more of a metaphor for anarchy and lawlessness. When Ranvijay was a kid, he was caned by a cruel female teacher and no cops came to protect him. When his father got attacked, the police couldn't find anything. This shows that if the police can not show up to protect good people from violence, they can't do the same when those good people resort to violence. The police can be seen as mere spectators in the film, and their such treatment adds to the depiction of an anarchy where only violence, wealth and vengeance rule.

Based on the Netflix version, the first half is 1 hour 45 minutes long, and the second half is 1 hour 36 minutes long.

The film was controversial for a number of reasons, but mostly because it was about an antihero protagonist and many viewers in India only understood the concepts of strictly hero and strictly villain. Many Twitter feminists called the film's fans red flags unworthy of love, and used disrespectful terms like "psycho" for the director Sandeep Reddy Vanga. They intentionally overlooked the good sides of the protagonist and whatever good he did was labelled as "bare minimum" by the same offended users.

Moreover, being an A-rated action film with a 3 hour 21 minute duration with no typical songs and definitely not directed from a feminist lens, the film was subject to a number of smear campaigns online. An offended woman even tried to get the film banned in the parliament, which ultimately didn't happen.

Another accusation was that the film glorified the protagonist and his wrongdoings, while totally ignoring the film was about his descent into madness and how he blurs the line between good and evil. Also, the film is set to have a sequel, so a lot of story remains to be told. Many people blindly hated on the film and tried to kill it, but it backfired and only resulted in a bigger and more successful run for the film.

Ranbir Kapoor insisted on doing the fight scenes himself instead of getting a body double. Every day, he would work out in the gym for two hours, then eight hours of rehearsal and then shoot, as per Fight master Supreme Sunder.

Designed by Production Designer Suresh Selvarajan, it took him four months to construct the machine gun, which first had a wooden prototype -- on which Ranbir would practice -- before finally, filming on the main machine made of steel. The director had briefed his team about the guns that would be used, how powerful they would be, and the kind of fights, and they had to design accordingly.
