MSNBC is giving cable news rival CNN increased competition in the exploding documentary arena through ramped up acquisitions by a revived arm devoted to non-fiction programming.
MSNBC Films showed the seriousness of its intent in June, when it won an intense bidding war for “Paper & Glue,” by the visual artist and prior Oscar nominee Jr, ahead of its Tribeca Film Festival premiere. “Paper & Glue” has since qualified for Academy Award consideration, and is competing against documentaries including “Julia,” backed by CNN Films and Sony Pictures Classics. MSNBC also has qualified two short documentaries – Emily L. Harrold’s “Meltdown at Dixie” and Seth Freed Wessler’s “The Facility” — for Oscar consideration

When Apple TV+ first revealed that Dickinson Season 3 would be the comedy's conclusion, there were some concerns it was too early to bring the show to a close.
After screening the entire season, it's clear the series is ending at the right time. Dickinson Season 3 is much darker than its predecessors, and for all intents and purposes, the show's beauty has been how it has grown with Emily.
As the backdrop to the ten-part final season, the Civil War provides characters time to assess who they are and what they want to become in one of history's most challenging times.
Emily is entirely different than the girl of the first two seasons, and Hailee Steinfeld gets some of the best material of her career as Emily tries to find herself, once and for all.

As has been the case with every decade, the Fantastic Four went through a new makeover and a new comic book run. Apart from the usual series, this decade also marked the introduction of the team within the Ultimate Universe. The team's leader Reed Richards Aka Mister Fantastic took centerstage while questioning his choices as a scientist and a superhero.

Other issues also succeeded at providing a more humanized look at its villains, particularly the Four's arch-nemesis Doctor Doom. While he engages in some truly evil acts, he's also depicted as an empathetic leader to his people. Another central theme in this period was Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman's troubled marriage, as was evident in not only Fantastic Four comics but even crossovers like Civil War.
