Avis à la une
It's not a dark thriller if that is what you are expecting, but a great feel-good puzzlemystery. I was a bit sceptical at first but found myself falling in love with Alström and Rheborgs characters the more I saw of them. I think it is funny and interesting at the same time. Can't wait for more episodes in the future!
An interpretation that does not take itself to seriously and neither should the observer. Enjoy it for what it is.
Rheborg does a good job in this series. His female counterpart provides little weight to the series, In addition to forcing you through a pointless and completely uninteresting relationship.
Regardless of the sometimes failing story and questionable characters it is well produced and an entertaining 8 episodes providing something a bit different for being a Swedish crime drama.

I watched this via Channel 4 in the UK in 2022, and have had a look at the current reviews, which seem to have been placed by 1) people with some vested interest in the show who give it vapid rave reviews, and 2) people who for some reason have an almost pathological hatred for the show. It's certainly not a 10-star blockbuster, but nor is it a 1-star mega-turkey. To be sure, the writers have absolutely no clue how to actually construct a bona fide mystery plot, and apparently no interest in doing so; their aim is to create quirky characters and spin a certain light, escapist mood, and there they succeed. So, yes, most of the crime plots make no sense, and the "solutions" don't hold water...but...the show is so damned entertaining! I'm going to give it a generous 7 stars, and yes, I would watch a second season.
Agatha Christie books, movies etc are made in a certain way. The jokes, the murders, the murderers. You can't compare this series with another crime series. It's two different worlds.
This is not a bad series, it's just not for everyone.

Cozy and a little exciting in nice surroundings with good actors. Not so violence like other crime series. And i think its like Agatha christies books.

- AnecdotesAriadne Oliver is a fictional mystery writer created by writer Agatha Christie. Mrs Oliver, who writes stories about Sven Hjerson, appears in the short story collection Parker Pyne Investigates, six novels featuring Hercule Poirot, plus the standalone novel The Pale Horse. Mrs Oliver's relationship to her fictional detective reflects that of Christie to Poirot, in that Hjerson is very popular but the writer seems to grow weary of him. From Christie's novels not much is known of Hjerson, except that he is a Finn and a vegetarian and the titles of some of his cases.
