Had Al Tar

One of the cool movies that reflects the culture and traditions of some areas in Saudi Arabia.

Writer: A well written story, should of been developed by more focus in terms of character development, background and history.

Director: Reflected the sorry really well, highlighting the period in a good way in terms of choosing the location, shooting and execution.

Actors: Good acting in general, my main issue is that the main character was more leaning into his soft side, some scenes definitely would have been better with more aggression.

Ending: Nice ending to the story, with a soft twist.

I think this is the best Saudi work in the world of TV.

I can't put in words how I feel while watching work. It's very honest, crafted, balanced, very good direction and writing, remarkable performances. This is what is Art supposed to be. But yet, I can't helped to feel unease as it reaches out to the contradictions that we live in, or used to be. Times simply change, more to the worse, perhaps. This change is well-portrayed in this movie. And I fear of how the society will be affected with it. I enjoyed this movie and I felt different as I fished it. I guess this is right feeling given my conservative culture.

Last, Saudi cinema is thriving very fast and worth to give it the chance to shine.

The incidents of the story talk about Seaaf neighborhood. The local neighborhood in the heart of the capital, Riyadh is inhabited by all kinds and nationalities of black people. The story merges into the hidden worlds of this poor neighborhood at the heart of the capital of the oil state that is The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The story is about Dayel, the son of a swordsman. His job is to execute death.

I am honestly out of words to describe this.

Definitely did not expect this work of outstanding artistry coming out of KSA.

I loved every single second of it.
