The Rebels of PT-218

5.3 rating is way to good for this C movie if there is such a thing. Totally filmed in a studio and on one old junker parked in a harbor somewhere.

Apart from the huge departure from the factual history this movie is based on, the acting quality is poor, the CGI pathetic, bad script, numerous goofs throughout the movie, and the whole movie does not flow well. It is a very bad attempt at trying to recreate an historic event of WW2. Do not bother watching this movie. It is terrible.

In what world would a US General get on an open air radio and tell the Captain of a US merchant ship the time and date of the invasion of Salerno?

Don't bother at all with this one.

Totally out of mind to see an US seaman to wear a modern tactical vest to make charge on a 88mm gun!!! OMG!!! It is also weird for a German U-boat to surface out of the water and engages in gun battle to an US transportation ship, where the hell are their torpedoes and the sub is led by a SS officer! This is simply one of the stupidest film I have ever seen in my life. Strongly recommend to avoid it.

A 65 Year old LT (Eric R) was bad enough... but a 77 Year old Seaman (Danny T)? You have got to be kidding me!

Low budget (factual) movie. Not really factual as the setting (description) is 1942 and the Hound was not in service and completed until 5 March 1943!

Just bogus all the way around. Far too much suspension of disbelief is required for this "stinker". Stinker is actually a term from 1942, and is appropriate in every sense. It is also more accurate timeline wise than this disgrace of a picture.

At least as old as the actors are, they are still too young to have even been alive at the time this supposedly takes place. Historically questionable, and I might even venture offensive to the actual crewman aboard her.

Pass on this, if you have any decency.
