Kristen Bell's best show is sadly leaving Netflix in September
Image
For two decades and counting, Kristen Bell has been an underrated staple of the small screen. Most of us probably first fell in love with her in the titular role of the Upn/CW teen mystery drama Veronica Mars, a role she later returned to twice. She's since shape-shifted a number of times on TV, tackling comedies and cult favorites aplenty, including one that's set to leave Netflix very soon.

Before you get too concerned, no, Bell's latest hit series Nobody Wants This, which earned the actress her first Emmy nomination, isn't the one leaving Netflix. As a Netflix original series, a wildly popular one at that, it's in no danger of being plucked from the streamer any time soon. In fact, Nobody Wants This season 2 makes its premiere this fall on Oct. 23 to be exact.

However, the series Bell starred in before Nobody Wants This (and should have been...

Adult Swim Anounces New Animated Comedy Series With Dallas Cowboys Owner Jerry Jones As Major Character
Image
Adult Swim announced that it has an upcoming adult animated show titled Keeping Up with the Joneses that will feature Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones as a main character. Adult Swim has long been a juggernaut of the adult animation genre, and it's responsible for some of the best adult animated shows of the last decade and even earlier. From classics like Robot Chicken to the ongoing hit Rick and Morty season 8, Adult Swim consistently produces great and unique bits of adult animation. Adult Swim's next adult animated project seeks to keep that trend going.

Now, Adult Swim has confirmed a new series, Keeping Up with the Joneses, which will follow the Newberry family as they "try to 'keep up' with their staggeringly wealthy Dallas neighbors - including the one next door, Jerry Jones." The title is presumably a play on the idiom of the same wording, which means to...

Adult Swim Tackles Dallas Cowboys Owner Jerry Jones in Latest Series
Image
Adult Swim’s newest series will brush up against the world of the NFL — or, at least, its most famous team owner.

The cable network has ordered a series called Keeping Up With the Joneses from creators Hugh Davidson, Rachel Ramras and Larry Dorf. The 10-episode, half-hour show will chronicle the Newberry family of Dallas as they try to “keep up” with their staggeringly wealthy neighbors — including Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, who lives next door. The animated version of Jones will be a character in the series (though voiced by an actor, not by Jones himself).

Adult Swim announced the series order at Annecy Animation Festival, where earlier in the week it revealed a two-season renewal for Smiling Friends.

Davidson, Ramras and Dorf previously co-created Netflix’s The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window, a satire of psychological thrillers that starred Kristen Bell.

‘The Good Place’ Cast: What Are They Doing in 2025
Image
It’s been five years since The Good Place waved goodbye, and honestly, we’re still not over it. Eleanor, Chidi, Jason, and Tahani made ethics, frozen yogurt, and afterlife meltdowns weirdly emotional and hilarious. Even now in 2025, fans rewatch the series like it’s a self-care ritual. But while we’ve been bingeing reruns and quoting Janet, the cast has been busy moving on to their next big things.

Some have been everywhere, popping up in movies, shows, and even voiceovers you didn’t realize were them. Others have kept a lower profile, choosing fewer roles or exploring new projects. Either way, these heavenly humans are still crushing it. Whether you’re wondering who became a Marvel superhero, who’s writing books, or who’s just living their best chill life, we’ve got you covered. Here’s what the stars of The Good Place are doing now in 2025, no afterlife shenanigans involved,...

‘Raising Voices’ Season 2 Ruled Out By Netflix
Image
Picture: Netflix

Created by Miguel Sáez Carral and Isa Sánchez, Raising Voices (or Ni una más as it was known in Spanish regions) told the story of 17-year-old Alma and her friends Greta and Nata who have their lives flipped upside down after discovering a sign outside their school proclaiming a rapist was within the school gates. All eight episodes dropped on Netflix globally on May 31st, 2024. Nicole Wallace, Clara Galle, Aïcha Villaverde, and Teresa de Mera were among the cast.

Following the end of Raising Voices, there had been some speculation of potential season 2 plans, but ultimately, most outlets landed on the series being a one-and-done situation. That said, Netflix uploaded the season with the “Season 1” label, as evidenced by the weekly top 10 reports for the series and on the tracker site NewonNetflix.info. Likewise, in checking all the pre-release materials for Raising Voices, there were no mentions of it being a limited series.

The Woman In The House Across The Street's Ending, Explained
Image
The Woman in the House Across the Street From the Girl in the Window was a popular series on Netflix in 2022. It followed Kristen Bell's protagonist Anna — a woman traumatized after the gruesome loss of her daughter — as she attempted to solve a murder mystery. The Woman in the House parodied psychosexual thrillers such as The Girl on the Train and The Woman in the Window, making the series both hilarious and suspenseful. However, it also tells a thrilling mystery about murder and reality on its own.

The shocking and satisfying conclusion to The Woman in the House Across the Street rewarded audiences who stuck with the show. The Netflix series left no doubt about who killed Lisa, and that the events of the series do take place in reality and not just Anna's mind. However, the final episode also contained a twist that left viewers wanting more. Here's...

The Woman In The House Across The Street Ending Explained
Image
The killer's identity is revealed as Neil's daughter Emma, a serial killer with a dark motive for murder. Anna overcomes her fear of rain in a moment of courage during the investigation into Lisa's death. The series sets up a potential season 2 with a mysterious disappearance on a plane, hinting at more twists to come.

Lisa's killer is uncovered in The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window, but it takes some analysis to figure out how. Anna (Kristen Bell), a woman with a tragic past and a drinking problem, sees her neighbor's girlfriend get murdered — or did she? The Woman in the House Across the Street is a dark satirical thriller that parodies crime dramas. One night, Anna sees her neighbor Lisa (Shelley Hennig) standing in the window across the street with blood gushing from her neck. Anna calls the cops, but they say Lisa isn't dead.

Woman In The House's Ending Was A Dream - Theory Explained
Image
The ending of "The Woman in the House Across the Street" suggests that it may have all been a dream or hallucination, adding to the show's satirical take on psychological thrillers. The killer in the ending is revealed to be nine-year-old Emma, but there are theories that Anna, the protagonist, may have imagined most of the finale. The show's ambiguity and unreliability of narration contribute to its comedic and satirical nature, justifying its status as a limited series and leaving room for interpretation.

Looking at the many hallucinatory moments in Netflix's The Woman in the House Across the Street From the Girl in the Window ending explained that the finale may be one of them. It was possible that everything was just a dream. Veronica Mars Cast and Characters (Then and Now)

Veronica Mars was and still is a beloved teen-noir mystery show, and it was highly rated during its airing. It debuted in 2004 on Upn for two seasons, ending with its final season on The CW in 2007. A sequel film by the same name was released in 2014 after a successful Kickstarter fundraising effort by Kristen Bell and director Rob Thomas. 10 Rotten TV Shows That Are Still Worth Watching
Image
Although Rotten Tomatoes is generally a good indicator of which TV shows are worth watching and which can be skipped, there are several projects that general audiences have rated poorly which others could definitely get something out of. Quality is always somewhat subjective with film and television, meaning that while sites like Rotten Tomatoes can provide an overall consensus, there will always be exceptions. Shows don’t have to be extremely high-quality or ‘prestige’ to be worth watching either - sometimes, audiences just want something easy and entertaining to enjoy, even if critics and audiences didn’t originally get too much out of it.

While a handful of widely-beloved shows have a 100% Rotten Tomatoes score for each season, it can sometimes be difficult for more niche projects to succeed on the platform, since they’re always in competition with high-profile shows that pride themselves on their objective quality. However, several of these smaller,...

10 Underrated Finales That Stuck The Landing

Never Have I Ever's highly-anticipated final season proves to be a powerful and satisfying conclusion. As a result, the beloved Netflix series adds to the list of well-loved finales and joins the likes of Friends and The Office. Not every series pulls off a well-executed finish, which is why a perfectly-landed finale usually becomes an instant TV classic.

However, a handful of series deliver the best possible finales but are yet to receive their due credit. These sagas go out on an epic note, but their conclusions remain underrated, especially in comparison with the more popular and overhyped last episodes. These TV shows not only stuck the landing but also leaped far over fan expectations in the process.

Where Was The Woman In The House Across The Street Filmed?
Image
Netflix's The Woman in the House Across The Street From the Girl in the Window is a spoof of thrillers, and though the town of Canterbury Hill may be fictional, the series was filmed in a few idyllic locations. Anna Whitaker (Kristen Bell) doesn't leave her house much after a tragedy, and she begins to think that her neighbor has been killed. While much of the miniseries takes place inside Anna's house, Anna spends time in other locations, like a grocery store and a neighbor's home. She also goes to a lighthouse and an elementary school in the hopes of finding answers.

Anna has a condition called ombrophobia. Also grieving her young daughter's death. Anna spends most of her time sitting in her house drinking wine and thinking about the family that she has lost as she and her ex-husband Douglas (Michael Ealy) still care about each other but...

Image
Click here to read the full article.

As a kid, fashion and home designer Jenni Kayne used to visit the Santa Ynez Valley with her family. “I have such amazing memories of summers and long weekends there,” says Kayne regarding the wine-growing region northwest of the city of Santa Barbara.

In September of 2020, Kayne purchased a 3,860-square-foot home in the valley — where celebrity residents have included Noah Wylie, Bo Derek, tennis great Jimmy Connors and lyricist Bernie Taupin — but the four-bedroom house was not exactly move-in ready.

“I spent time looking for the right property in Santa Ynez, and came across this home that had been abandoned since the 1970s. It was near disrepair, with caution tape across the sinks and toilets and animals living inside,” says Kayne, who nevertheless could see the potential of the space as a showcase for her Jenni Kayne Home collection and as a place...
