This movie is fun while tackling the tough issue of being in love with two people at once. Viewers might be frustrated at times with protagonist Luke's indecisiveness. But that is so often the way of things in all aspects of life. Luke is coming of age sexually, and like so many people in that phase of life, he is for now uncertain of what makes him happiest by way of sexual identity. Which is, of course, further complicated by the two wonderful people with whom he's in love, and who have a passionate romantic love for him. "Boy Foretold" tackles this common dilemma with great humor as well as poignancy. You will enjoy the laughs, the music, and some useful ideas on how to deal with one of life's most challenging decisions. Especially, you will know you're not alone in making that decision, and that everyone is wishing you the best in whatever you decide.

Both actors are so natural. Commendable and must have a break in showbiz.

I adore The Boy Foretold by the Stars because the film knows what it wants to convey. It is well-written and directed by Dolly Dulu.

Which reminds me, I did a little research. The film is base on a play, Ang Hangal, which director Dolly wrote in college.

"The story is based on my personal experience back in high school. It's a very personal story that I wanted to share with the audience. It's not just a passion project, it's a material that carries a very important message specifically for the members of the LGBTQ+ community," the director told Manila Standard Entertainment in a virtual interview.

No wonder you can feel a sense of genuineness (Is this a word?). There was no hint of pretentiousness. I guess we also need to thank the wonderful actors, especially Adrian Lindayag, the actor who portrayed Dominic.

Every time he appears on the screen, my heart and mind would say, I hear you, I feel you, and I understand you. He surely identifies well with Dominic, so he was able to convey what the character wanted.

If you get a chance to catch this, please hit play. The Boy Foretold by the Stars (2020) is a beautiful film through and through.

It's light-hearted and beautiful. I like how the development of their relationship, from friendship to genuine love, can truly be felt. It offers sufficient kilig scenes that is realistic and is so satisfying, something that can remind you of your old high school romances, or a vision of what could have been if only one of you were brave enough.

Above all, I love that this film shows everyone that love is love, no matter the gender. I hope that through this film, people would start to soften their hearts with this matter. If not, then at least this film could mark the start to the acceptance that the LGBTQIA+ community rightfully deserves.

Natural and brilliant! Two words to describe how finesse the acting of the lead actors brought me back to believe in destiny again! Sincerity over formula indeed!

Love is destiny indeed! This movie taught me to believe again!

I just wanna time travel after watching this film! Bravo!

This movie grows on you in a very slow fashion. Very well written and very well acted, I loved this movie.

Both the protagonists did a great job to make you feel all the emotions that they were feeling at the moment. I loved the way the character Dominic was written, very elegant and realistic.

I absolutely adored the way they explained destiny which without giving spoilers you all need to watch.

The movie will make you cuddle into a ball while crying your heart out in sorrow and happiness.
