Avis à la une
I sat down to watch the 2021 movie titled "Zombi VIII: Urban Decay", given my interest in all things zombie. Sure, the "Zombi" movie franchise haven't exactly been great, but still, I opted to give it a chance.
And I should have gone with my gut feeling and just left this movie alone. Yeah, "Zombi VIII: Urban Decay" was that bad.
There weren't any properly well-written storyline to be seen in "Zombi VIII: Urban Decay", so I don't really know what writer and director Dustin Ferguson was thinking when he wrote and made this particular movie.
What you get when you sit down to watch the 2021 movie "Zombi VIII: Urban Decay" is a whole lot of nothing. There is no proper storyline, and even worse dialogue. Then there was the dubious and questionable acting, which was just painful to witness. And "Zombi VIII: Urban Decay" contains a whole lot of nothing, virtually nothing - film being wasted on people walking in the wilderness, or sitting in a cab. I feel that I should also mention the audio in "Zombi VIII: Urban Decay", because it was atrocious. I wonder how a sound that bad, which was at times so low you could hardly hear what was being mumbled on the screen, could ever pass through editing. Surely someone must have noticed it and raise a finger.
"Zombi VIII: Urban Decay" is one of the worst zombie movies I have had the misfortune of stumbling upon. And it is definitely a contender for the top 10 of bad zombie movies I have seen.
I am rating "Zombi VIII: Urban Decay" a generous one out of ten stars. You should really do yourself a favor and skip on this abysmal wreck of a movie. Some of us suffered through this ordeal so you don't have to. Another strike out for the "Zombi" franchise.

"Worst ever" gets thrown around a lot. Most of the time the thing being labeled as such is nowhere near "the worst ever". But in the case of prolific trash-peddler Dustin Ferguson it is actually true.
Somehow, this man has figured out loopholes to release 'sequels' to numerous cult 70s and 80s films. On paper that is awesome. Who wouldn't want to see a new Zombi film?
Like all of Fergusons films, we don't get a new Zombi film. We get 50% stock footage, 25% credit sequences, 15% talking scenes and 5% terrible zombie footage.
Do not bother watching this garbage, there is absolutely no redeeming value whatsoever.

I don't know how it was scored 8/10 by another reviewer, maybe linked to the movie?
You only have to check the trailer to see it is badly acted and is a cheap B movie. If it is was made to look like the 70's 80's cheap badly acted movies then it works (back in those days).
Other than that terrible film, just on the trailer! Check it and see what I mean,

Where do you start..is this even a movie, made up of mostly stock footage, this pile of rot should not even be considered film, the acting is nonexistent, FX completely sad and the script is just not there ..the 8/10 review is surly by someone connected to this production (for lack of a better word)
if you are expecting a watchable b movie with some good moments.....you are WRONG..all you will get a time wasted on this utter pile of garbage.

The worst Zombie film I have ever seen. I enjoyed Zombie 2 & 3, 4 was Meh and 5 was lame. I haven't ever heard of the Director/Writer of this one before but he clearly doesn't know how to make a film. Every single boring scene was dragged out for 10 minutes. My favorite scene was where a girl dancing takes her top off, other than that there's nothing to see.
