The lack of tools is incredible, they try to recover a little cabin cruiser. The little water pump is hired and due to go back, they tow it with a little dingy thing. Then don't even have a trailer to get it out the water. On the plus side they don't seem to be phased by the challenges plus a couple of cute girls who make the workday watchable.

The first series of this show was great fun with likeable characters and interesting scenarios. Unfortunately the second series loses the magic with a new ops manager who takes the charisma and fun out of the show that made the first series so charming and good fun. Worth a watch, though.

OK,I agree that some of the negative themes in the narration about 'deadlines' (really ?) and 'budget'(really:it's a TV series and must have it's own budget, as well ?) gets a bit wearing ,but the actual recoveries are always interesting, as are the individual teams, and the fascinating Australian bush and coast locations.

The intriguing part is when you think you could do it a different way which,may not be practicable on the ground! I I have watched all four series and will watch any further series! Very enjoyable and highly recommended by me !! Go Christopher ! Go Team !!

I've been watching this season 1 and it's an ok series. It's a little outlandish and the boss seems a little incapable at times (as does his crew). It's mildly enjoyable or I wouldn't be on season 3 now. But, I wouldn't call it a High-Quality show. Honestly, I thought it may have been a put together show of actors during the 1st season. But, an internet search actually found that they've been in business since 2007. You would think they would be better than they are with nearly 15 years experience. Or, maybe they're just 'TV Show Drama'ing' it up for the cameras. Anyways, it's mildly enjoyable. If there's nothing better on to watch, give it a try.

It was interesting to read reviews and see others also say season one was best. In my opinion It all went down hill when they introduced "Jacinta" her Obnoxious and businesslike attitude swept through the series like cancer. Season one was all about a group of friends doing a job they love together and seeing their home life combined with on the job experiences was so well balanced... it was just really fun and then Jacinta arrived I just I can't watch it any more.
