Vreme zla

Good and deep storyline. Good acting. Decent cinematography and costumes. However, the story develops really slow.

Everything would have been 40% faster if they had cut all the smoking "action". It seems that somebody is always holding, lighting, sharing or asking for cigarette. Even in bedrooms. Come on!

I don't have time to watch other people smoking for 1 hour. At least I don't have to breathe that.

It's a shame. It had all the potential to be an intriguing miniseries.

The series looks like it was filmed in 1970. But not in a good way. Old-fashioned, slow, Goran Bogdan again doesn't understand when he speaks, and the other actors play in a long-outdated way. However, I give a 6, cause the whole team wanted the best.

For anyone who has read the book, the series is a real disappointment. The screenwriter placed the love story of Milena and Bogdan Dragovic at the center of the plot, and the character of Bogdan is portrayed in an utterly unconvincing and poor manner. This is because the producer of the series cast himself in the role of the seducer and dangerous spy, which doesn't suit him at all.

The story develops slow and some importunate parts of the book were missed. Scenes last unreasonably long, and their unnecessary length does not give them any artistic form.

All in all, *Vreme zla* is a masterful literary work by Dobrica Cosic, but the series is terribly poorly made, with an emphasis on the wrong things.

They destroyed the novel. The series is too slow and boring. Acting is below average. Poor direction with amateur skills.

Too shame that such a good novel have this tv represention.

Expectations were high. The result is average. Goran Bogdan speaks indistinctly again. Nada Sargin is unconvincing for the first time. I don't know... I didn't expect this.
