100-man no Inochi no Ue ni Ore wa Tatte Iru

The first season of 100-man offered something different, and the author deserves credit for that. However, it ultimately didn't live up to expectations.

The second season was... weird. The show shifted a bit, adopting a more arc-focused structure instead of the previously dull approach.

Still, it's one of those cases where the phrase "go read the source material" definitely applies.

Guys i will tell one thing definitely this series is underrated and the definition of dont judge a book by its cover. Ofcourse it was a little bit of confusing from the start like whether you will like this series or hate this.its gets intersting around from epiosde 7 or 8,i dont remeber precisely.and season 2 is also too good compared to season 1.so if anyone there leaving this show after just watching 4-5 episode i request you to please go through the whole series,you will definitely find it good and it has not too much drama and unnecessary dialogues. One thing i hate in this series is the time difference between the parallel worlds. I will not say any other spoiler,you can watch the series and find out yourselves.waiting for season 3. Thank you.

This is great show. If I was to try and compare it to another show it's a cross between In Another World With My SmartPhone & The Rising of the Shield Hero, with a little Death Note mixed in. The smartphone show is just fun, the Shield Hero show is awesome, and Death Note is dark and witty. This show is right in the middle. Some light fun stuff mixed with some heavy emotions and consequences.

Infrequent use of profanity, and the profanity is more on the mild side. No sex or nudity, but a couple of sexual themes.

Totally worth the watch.

All of the anime tropes are so played out but for some reason - and decades later - they still persist.

One such trope is the flashback in the middle of an action scene which tells an unnecessary and boring tale of the characters past. It doesn't add much and simply fills time and takes away from the action. This show does this more than any other I've yet encountered.

The show itself is actually fairly good for what it is. The constant cutaways and backstories that are typically meaningless and unhelpful are just too boring and frustrating to rate this higher than a 6 In my opinion.

Thankfully they don't employ the absurd ESA obnoxious tropes such as the cringey squeaking child and screaming characters that absolutely drive me insane so that 6th star is a result of that. I don't understand how that still exists in the 2020s as from every forum I've ever read - people are either annoyed by it or indifferent to it and no one actually seems to like it. Kudos for not falling into that.

All the others are insane. Personally I think the current 6.4 rating is too high for this anime. There is absolutely NOTHING amazing about this anime. It is not underrated like one reviewer said, the rating is as accurate as I can see, maybe even a bit modest.

The first season is INCREDIBLY slow. It does NOT get better after 6 episodes like one reviewer said.

One reviewer mentioned unlike other Isekai these characters powers are weak at the beginning. They NEVER get any more decent where it's actually meaningful or helpful without their lives being in imminent danger, it's quite lame.

Season 2 is worst than the first season, it does NOT get better. The action is crap, the characters are not interesting in the slightest, yet they keep adding more.

I don't know how crap like this gets renewed for a 2nd season but I can't get a 2nd season of No Game No Life or Drifters or even Wiseman's Grandchild.
