The Expanding Mind

This short film is beautifully written. The dialogue and story is brilliant, successfully telling such an in depth story in a short time frame and leaving you wanting more at the end is surreal. I was honoured to have the chance to get a private viewing of this film and I can honestly say I wasn't disappointed in how it turned out.

Wesley Grogan and his Co-write Hayley O'Reilly really know how to tell a story and they did it perfectly without leaving any gaps or holes in the story.

I got a chance to watch the launch of this film with Direct online monthly film festival.

It was great, and I thoroughly enjoyed it, not a bad start from a director with no experience, I was half expecting this film to have really bad quality. But it was extremely fun to watch. And did not disappoint

I was delighted to get a private viewing of this short film. After watching it I can clearly see why the story and the characters work. The one thing that I enjoyed was the consistency of the film. From start to finish it grips you and gets you sucked in really quickly with the ending leaving you wanting more. Some minor issues with lighting that I noticed, but that doesn't distract from the story. The best part of this was seeing an independent film maker such as Wesley Grogan bringing a story to life in an original fashion.

Kudos to the style of writing and it's clear direction was done well for the film. This is worth the watch when this gets made available to the public.

I genuinely never had so much fun watching a short. Utterly great. I'd like to take a minute to really give a particular shout to watch Carl Maher. His performance was absolutely stunning. He portrays a character who is so confident but loses it in the end and he holds that from start to finish. It may not mean much but I really think he is someone who is going to grace the silver screen and leave memories

Amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed this short movie. The story was fantastic and you were on the edge of your seat the whole time. It was done in such a way that every moment of dialogue got the ball rolling and hooked you into the story. The set was great, and the costumes were spot on. Was really happy to see how this turned out. My favourite hands down was Actor Carl Maher, he started off being so sure of everything, having a level of control and in the end you could see just how deflated he was that he lost all that. His performance was outstanding and really believable. He's one I'll most certainly watch out for.
