Filmed back to back with its sequel, Les Trois Mousquetaires: Milady (2023), and took only 150 days to shoot after starting August 16, 2021, and wrapping on June 3, 2022.
François Civil performed 90% of his own stunts in both films after completing an intense, six-month training regimen for preparation on fencing, sword-fighting and horseback riding.
