Secrets of a Restaurant Chef

I would like to start off by saying that it usually takes me a while to get used to new people, whether it comes to my personal life or my Food Network celebrity chefs. Right off the bat, I was really hooked on Anne Burrell's new show.

At first I kept thinking that I knew her from somewhere. I guess I was little slow to make the Iron Chef connection. Once I realized that I used to seeing her as the beloved Mario Batali's right-hand woman, I was instantly surprised that Food Network had not gotten her out of the shadows on onto her own show ages ago.

Anne's new show is awesome! She is funny, entertaining, and doesn't talk down to the viewers or oversimplify things. I found myself laughing and my mouth watering throughout the show. Within 5 minutes of the show ending, I set my TIVO to record her every week.

Here's hoping that this great new show catches on and that we can watch Anne for years to come! Way to go, Anne!
