In order to receive the BBFC 18 rating, 17 changes had to be made in order to remove elements that tend to eroticise sexual assault (for example, through the use of nudity), as well as other elements that tend to endorse sexual assault (for example, by encouraging viewer complicity by the use of camcorder footage, filmed by the rapists, during the various scenes of sexual assault). All of these changes are only a couple of seconds long, sometimes alternate shots were used or the framing was changed to cover problematic areas of the frame. Therefore there's only a total difference of approx. 20 seconds between both versions.
