An unfulfilled love poem in the social media era. A bitter sweet masterpiece of realism. The movie portrays the difficulties to be a teenage girl in Egypt.

Just wanted to play a random movie to fill the time before dawn on a Ramadan night while at military service and it turned out to be Souad. It's my first time to write a review on IMDb I dunno how to start but I've experienced so intense emotions watching this. I missed watching Arabic work that's, like, so original and realistic. Alexandria is imaged the way it is, all the feminine details are so relatable and realistic, the way Souad and her friends act and joke, the siblings relationship, the way Souad turns on! The cast is so talnted specially Rabab character. The storytelling style of arcs was amazing. Oh my god I really missed Cinema that speaks my language, films people that I relate to and places that I know well. I just wanna thank the brilliant director and the whole cast I hope you do more of this good work. Thank you guys.

I had seen the film before midnight in the theater with just a couple :-(

And, I have been feeling the emotions of the film since that day regardless of its problem issues. Which are summarized into two points: the deepness of the leading character's struggles and decisions that she made. And, I know the camera can trans the characters' feelings when there is good acting but I was longing for a touching dialogue.

Exclude that, the film is good. The director's vision in shooting style and storytelling was amazing as much as the three main acting roles were.

Well Done Ayten Amin, I'm excited waiting for your future project.
