this is just brilliant to me. I love the parallels that Lynch made in his past three films of placing reality directly next to fantasy pointing at the truths in fantasy. He furthered these juxtapositions by placing scenes next to scenes with minimal logical correspondence in Inland Empire creating a narrative with a unique logic and form. Now we see deleted scenes of fantastic monologues, dialogues and images edited together to make a piece with fragile, psychological emotions at the forefront and demonstrative reason in the basement. It is hard to watch without linking it with what I know from Inland Empire but I did try to watch it as a stand alone film.

This one is a complement for Inland Empire, and all I can say is : uhhhhnn...?! Lynch movies are supposed to leave you like this. I don't even know if I'm ready to discuss this movie with someone, because I feel very confused. I think I should rewatch it a couple more times before trying.

More Things That Happened unfortunately falls short of expectations. The pacing is extremely slow, with scenes dragging on for extended periods before transitioning to the next. This sluggish pacing hampers the narrative flow and makes it challenging to stay engaged.

The movie's 7.0 rating on IMDb is perplexing, as it does not align with the overall experience of watching this film. It serves as a cautionary tale about the limitations of relying solely on ratings to gauge a movie's quality. It's essential to approach each film with an open mind and evaluate it based on personal preferences and tastes.

While lower-rated films can often provide an enjoyable and captivating viewing experience, More Things That Happened fails to deliver on entertainment value and leaves viewers questioning the criteria behind its rating.

In conclusion, More Things That Happened proved to be a disappointing and tedious watch, lacking the substance and engagement expected from a film.
