Avis à la une
The series itself was entertaining even for as fake as it was. The movie is just awful. Pizzaro is obsessed with his nasty rude entitled daughter Lyndah and she ruined the series when she was in any episode and she hurts the movie.
The acting from everyone is really bad. They definitely take advantage of the R rating so be prepared. The movie is much rougher with the language.
The sound isn't very good. The camera work is all over the place.

I caught a show already in progress. It was the one where they take the old Chevy Tahoe, and the guy starts shooting at them. While the guy is shooting, the "camera crew" in the back doesn't even flinch. I was wondering what was going on (as other scenes had the "staged" look), so I continued watching into the next show (tru was playing several episodes in a row).
There is a disclaimer at the beginning of the show. These are "reenactments". So, in other words, the show is basically a fake.
I'm not even sure they are real repo people, or just actors.
You'll get more realistic entertainment watching WWF.

Such a stupid show, how can they be getting a movie now? If you want to see a repo show, watch Jacked...they're actually legit people running a legit business and most importantly are NOT spreading falsities about what repo people can and cannot do.
Reposessors can not engage the public in violence, they can defend themselves but if someone thinks they're going to get tackled for no reason while their car is getting repossessed, that's dangerous...what if they end up bringing a gun and overreact? Can you believe people actually defend the legitimacy of this show?
My opinion of the general public gets worse and worse with shows like this but more importantly with people who ENJOY and defend shows like this thinking it's real.

I just finished binge watching Operation Repo, which, I know, it isn't a great show, ok.. it's a D+ of a show, show I then see there is a " film." You have the same cast from the show, but, the acting is overly dramatic.
I don't know who originally aired this, but, this feels like a very bad Tele Novela. The cast were not actors before this project, so everyone is too stiff and over acting. When I watch movies like this, I feel bad for the money wasted and what could have been put to it instead. I can't even say " well, they tried", this is worse than a high school film project. What made Operation Repo, good, or, well watchable, it was about Repo's. But this, this is trying to be too hard to be the Tele Novela Taken.
Hard out.

I binge watched the entire series of operation repo, loved the TV series, the characters and all the mishaps that happened along the way.
Because I binge watch the show I got burnt out, I knew the movie existed but left it for when I felt like watching it again.
I'm not even sure I can push through this.
The quality of this abomination is no where near at the same standard as the TV series.
The camera work is choppy, the acting is atrocious, it's bad, just really really bad.
I honestly don't know how they screwed this up so badly, I'm not even sure if they watched the movie themselves afterwards because if they did they should have trashed it and started again, they need to hang their heads in shame for going ahead and releasing this crime against television.
