Trailer for the soon-to-be-released FFTG sequel (one of two), "Megami: Search for the Gods" (2012). Seven years after events of "Food for the Gods," AIRCOM intelligence operative Major Denise Hinoki (Grace Chin) tries to uncover whatever became of her NASA colleagues aboard the Star Shuttle Eagle III. Instead, with the guidance of an ancient Japanese ghost (Tomoko Hanawa), she uncovers a deadly international conspiracy that threatens her life and the future of two planets. Soon, Maj. Hinoki will find herself on a mystical world, allied with Sheenyana (Yvette Lu), Princess Xionko (Beverly Wu) and the original cast of "Food for the Gods" in an all new and amazing action adventure.

Anecdotes
Writer/director H. Scott Hughes based his screenplay (co-written by Phillip Matte) on a short story by his mother, sci-fi/mystery author Patricia C. Hughes, best known for her "Granny Grace" series published in Alfred Hitchcock Mystery Magazine in the late 90's. The short story's title was also "Food for the Gods." Mrs. Hughes personally approved her son's choice of Chinese-Canadian actress Yvette Lu to portray the protagonist she created.
