The much-awaited film Leo, starring Vijay and Trisha in the lead roles, is nearing its completion. The film, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, is an action thriller that revolves around a secret agent who goes undercover to stop a terrorist plot. The film also features Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Gautham Vasudev Menon, and Mysskin in pivotal roles.

According to sources, the film’s patch work is currently happening in Pahalgam, Kashmir, where some crucial scenes and a song sequence are being shot. The patch work is expected to last for 10 days, and Vijay is not part of it. The director and the technical crew are overseeing the final touches of the film, which is slated for a worldwide release on October 19, 2023.

Filmmaker Dharani is well known for making films with same technicians. All throughout his directorial career, his cameraman Gopinath and music director Vidhyasagar had kept accompanying with the success. But his last couple of films including Telugu movie ‘Bangaram’ and ‘Kuruvi’ turned to be a terrific flop.

Out of sentiments, Dharani has decided to get away from the usual technicians and has joined hands with new technical team. The Telugu film had the pooja performed last month in Hyderabad and will start rolling by May 15. The film brings back ‘Magadheera’ duo combo Ram Charan Teja and Kajal Agarwal in lead roles. Please don’t blame us this time and we are not going to mention anything bad about this film. But we cannot just neglect the facts and come up with a pleasing review, which would be a blatant injustice to our viewers.

‘Sura’ is nothing but a mix of Vijay’s previous 3 films that has reasonable formulas. At times, you’ll see him uttering punch dialogues and blowing trumpets in your ears, and at other times, he becomes spider man by jumping and flying without gravity powers. At the least, he pleases us only with couple of songs as his dance steps are mind-boggling.

When the ‘Singam’ roars and ‘Sura’ strikes – maybe this will be the most happening title that one can witness if both the films are hitting screens together. According to the sources, both Surya’s ‘Singam’ and Vijay’s ‘Sura’ is getting released on April 14.

For Surya, this will be a crucial film as his previous commercial film ‘Aadhavan’ wasn’t a great hit (though collections were pretty good). On pars, Vijay’s ‘Vettaikaran’ can be regarded something special than the previous flops – ‘Kuruvi’ and ‘Villu’.
