Surprisingly well done, legitimately feels like a CW quality show, put the Riverdale spin on Scooby-Doo and you get this. If this was on the CW it would obviously have a lower rating but the fact that this is completely indie and this well done is honestly astounding.
I'm a huge Scooby-Doo fan. Watched all of the cartoons (OG) and movies (animated and live action ones from the early 2000s). For reference, I'm 30 years old. This randomly popped up on my YouTube and decided to check it out.
There's definitely hard Riverdale vibes here. Which isn't really a compliment. The first season I thoroughly enjoyed and then the show went down hill after that, honestly surprised it hasn't been canceled yet. This also reminded me of that skit (I think it was on Jimmy Fallon) where they did a Riverdale version of the Peanuts characters. Take that, make it Scooby-Doo, and you get this.
However, I like where this show is headed. It got better. By the end of it I was wishing there was another episode to watch. I do agree with other people that some of the actors look a little too old to be playing high schoolers. And yes, most TV shows and movies cast people in their 20s to play high schoolers. I'm aware of that and aware of why they tend to do that. Just maybe they should've had this set in college instead?
Anyways, for a fan made project this is honestly amazing. There are some big budget shows/movies that don't look this good. I just think they need to not lean so hard into Riverdale territory. I like the idea of a more serious live action Scooby-Doo story, but it shouldn't feel like Riverdale 2.0. Also, there needs to be more Scooby-Doo! I do like they didn't try to make him talk, but he's a cute dog and there should be more scenes with him.
Interested to see what the rest of this series brings to the story and characters!

Very excited that the 1st episode kept my attention. Some parts were a bit cheesy but the rest was actually quite intriguing. Cant wait for more episodes. I am 27 and excited for a series like this for Scooby doo. So i wish them very well and i will continue to watch! 😊
Was surprised with the quality of a fan made pilot, it was well done, good quality, and am excited to see more! It is a different sort of take on the Scooby Doo line and it shows promise. If netflix or another company picks it up, it would be that much better, but as it is, the production quality is excellent, some of the actors (like the one coach) were a bit off but over all , very well done.
Yes you read that right 20 grand and people are moaning that scoobie doo doesnt talk!.so i found this on youtube not sure how it popped up on my feed but it did and was pleasantly surprised how good it was.a scoobie doo for grown ups but didnt realise it was being crowd funded.this has been made to look netflix esq show with just a fraction of the cost in making it.ive watched films that have been made on a shoe string budget and it shows but you dont notice it with this at all.i dont think i know any of the cast but 2 of them are the writers of the show and when you hear them speaking pasionantly about their baby you can tell they have put so much effort into their baby they want this to succeed.the extra scenes ive seen on the imbd website looks like they are doing episode 2 due to bits that wasnt in the first episode.fingers crossed first episode drew over 3,000,000 views over a year and maybe a netflix will take a chance on them.i have put a little donation on their indigogo crowdfund website.every little helps!
