Avis à la une
This movie had every ingredient money could buy, yet it failed to make a good dish.
I would like to summarise this movie with the following:
Friend : Do you wanna watch Singham Again?
Friend 2 : I'd rather watch "Singham" again!
Enough Said!
Wherever the old more tolerable Rohit Shetty went!
Better go for Bhool Bhulaiya 3 instead if you're gonna spend for a lot of people. I mean there's not much logic there as well, but at least it has its moments - some parts are genuinely heartfelt and humorous, and the acting isn't abysmal, and they are trying to give a genuine message, and it's actually kinda believable unlike this unforgivable mess. Here it's more like they forced everyone to overact, even the otherwise decent actors. My only pet peeve in BB3 would be the lack of option to fast forward most of the out-of-nowhere song scenes & lack of horror to my taste. But SA is a pet peeve in entirety!

Here's a full IMDb-style review for you:
"I went into Singham Again with moderate expectations, aware that it would be difficult to match the electrifying energy of the original Singham, which had audiences cheering and clapping in theaters. Sadly, this installment left me disappointed. The action sequences were below average, and the emotional moments lacked impact, failing to connect on the same level as the earlier films.
While the film had its highlights, especially with Ranveer Singh's portrayal of Simba, which brought a refreshing energy and helped save the second half from complete disaster, the rest of the film struggled to find its footing. Tiger Shroff and Deepika's characters felt unnecessary and did little to advance the plot. Additionally, the villain, despite efforts to make him seem menacing, ended up feeling underwhelming.
Overall, Singham Again felt like an overdose of masala without the right balance, leaving me unsatisfied. The movie tried to pack in too much, sacrificing quality for quantity. If you're a fan of high-octane action, it might still be worth a watch, but don't expect the magic of the original. I'd give it a 5 out of 10."

My 9 year old son has perfectly summarised this film after 3 hours of pure torture (I felt that way).
He said that this is Adipurush starring Bajirao Singham, which was the perfect summary for this godawful film!
Logic, physics and plot complications are conveniently ignored for a badgering of explosions and policemen behaving like circus acts.
In the very first few scenes of the film, I got a sense that things were going Deep South in quality when Singham walked in his police uniform with wrong colored socks! Things became bizzare when Akshay Kumar sported sneakers in the climactic scenes.
Even having not seen Bhool Bhulaiyya 3 yet, I hope it fares better than this Adipurush revisited travesty!

While the star-studded cast delivers MASALA entertainment, the CHAOTIC screenplay and relentless action can feel like sensory overload. With Arjun Kapoor playing the villian "Danger Lanka," the movie aims high on drama but often prioritizes spectacle over coherence, catering mostly to die-hard fans.
Rohit Shetty revs up the action with Singham Again, where Ajay Devgn's Bajirao Singham returns to tackle a wild mix of villains, with a FORCED Ramayana-inspired storyline. Backed by Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, and Deepika Padukone as the new "Lady Singham".
It never matches the EPIC storytelling and character development of the first part and probably never will.
Turn off your brains to watch this, you'll enjoy bits.

Positives:
1. Second Half Glimmer: The second half shows some glimpses of the classic Rohit Shetty style with action sequences that are enjoyable to watch.
2. Cop Duo Charms: Simmba and Sooryavanshi deliver what they do best - Simmba with his perfect comedic timing and Sooryavanshi with his effortlessly cool action sequences. However, their limited screen time isn't enough to save the film.
Negatives:
1. Lost Spark: Rohit Shetty seems to have lost his filmmaking magic. The adrenaline-pumping action, laugh-out-loud humor, and iconic characters we expect from him are absent.
2. Sluggish Start: The first half drags and fails to pick up the pace before the interval. The forced screenplay feels uninspired and lacks the director's usual spark.
3. Weak Story: The plot relies heavily on Ramayana parallels, which often feel off-beat and fail to resonate with the audience.
4. Technical Shortcomings: Messy camerawork and an overuse of drone shots create a cheap, low-budget aesthetic reminiscent of some amateur YouTube videos.
5. Uninspired Performances: Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor's acting feels theatrical, while Deepika Padukone's performance comes across as forced and insincere. Tiger Shroff showcases his usual gymnastic skills, and Arjun Kapoor fails to capture the menacing aura of Ravana, delivering a merely decent performance.
6. Disappointing Music: Ravi Basrur's score feels like leftover music from a C-grade film. It's loud, unoriginal, and fails to complement the scenes effectively.
7. Weak Ending: The end credit scene resembles a poorly made TV serial promo, adding to the overall disappointment.
Overall: "Singham Again" is a disappointment for fans of Rohit Shetty's signature style. While the second half offers a few saving graces, the film suffers from a weak story, uninspired performances, and forgettable music.
