In my opinion this is a phenomenal show with phenomenal characters, and a phenomenal story. Of course, it is not perfect, and it's absolutely NOT the best show of all time. But I recommend it to anyone. In my opinion, the acting is great. The show is about survival and the actions humans take to survive the drug business and its consequences. Why 7? Because I don't like the subtitles and you have them all the time in this show.

Ely Bams takes a bow, what an incredible show! Two things are required in a TV series for it to survive: Lead actors who give their characters intriguing depth which makes you want to see more and which will not grate in the longer term; and tight scripting.

Surviving The Cartel appears to have both elements from what I saw in this first season.

I learned about this show through a social media ad. First, I was skeptical as this show is independent and only available on pay-per-view. But the trailer was so intense and the plot seemed so original that I had to watch it. After binging all 5 episodes in one night, all I can say is WOW!!! I'm a woman in my 40s and I am hooked on a Cartel show. I can't believe it. The story, the plot, the dialogue, the direction, the acting, the music are so well executed that it blows my mind.

Surviving the Cartel is the greatest piece of art I've ever seen! If you love cinema and film, this show will bring you on a journey that no other show will give you. In my opinion, this show is highlighting a few less-known actors and bringing them into the spotlight. And hopefully will become more well-known off the back of this good show.

I like this show, but the second episode was not that good. I hope they make sure that all their future episodes in season 2 aren't like episode 2. Cause nothing is so sad as watching a good show die in a slow way. Good shows are rare !

Never caught this when it was on TV, but I started binge-watching it and I couldn't stop watching. It is nothing short of excellent. Easily the best TV show i have ever watched! This show is a true king of shows.

I will try to keep it short. Surviving the Cartel is a magnificent, outstanding, and a completely original television series that is filled with fantastic character developments, a unique storyline, and an endless amount of highly intense and unforgettable scenes.

The best series ever, the best thing that distinguishes the series is that the level of the series continues to rise to the last episode and the season has finished perfectly.

Ely Bams created a great story, a great show. That's undeniable! I read about him online and It seems he did everything independently without Hollywood money. Watching it, the show feels so personal. Did Ely Bams survive the cartel himself? For me Surviving the Cartel is not a show it is a feeling, an emotion every time I rewatch I get more excited instead.

I'm mid-season when I write this "review", and I am just mind blown. It's awesome! It's like a mix between Narcos, True Detective, and Breaking Bad. I guarantee it's as addictive as coke, the drug not the soda. LOL.

Surviving the Cartel may perhaps be the best thriller TV show that I will be re-watching again and again throughout my life because the thrill is just a small reactant of this beautiful final product.

This show is really interesting. I couldn't stop watching it because of how good it was. The ending of season is really great. Is this a true story? It's very different and unique from what we see on Tv and on other streaming platforms. It's unique.

This show is personally one of my favorites and is extremely entertaining to watch. EVeryone here has talked about the story, characters and suspense which were great. Another thing I liked was the visual storytelling.

I have never seen a show that I loved so much from the start. The quality of writing is just WOW. I think it's done brilliantly. Created by Ely Bams? Who is he? I just saw that this is his first TV show credit. How did he write something so GREAT on his first try? All acting on the show is A class. So many different people performed greatly.

Because the show is only available in pay-per-view. I thought about 100 times before paying to rent it. I just can't believe it. It's worth every single dime of my money. This is one of those top writing series. The dialogue is so well written that you can quote them everyday of your life. Great show, amazing concept. I love it.

I'm pleasantly surprised and I understand that there'll always be some mistakes, or some flaws in execution. Surviving the Cartel is a great show. The show isn't full of clichés that everyone knows and expects when handling a narcos topic. This is different.

I've never been the type of person that gets hooked on TV shows. In fact, I don't even watch that much TV, and the only show I watch on a regular basis is Sportscenter. Surviving The Cartel, however, has broken this trend.

The writer built the characters in a great way like Gabriel Agüero as Alejandro Cardona and Dennis O'Neill as Frank Harper. The ending of the first season was the best.

I saw it for the first time, and it won my heart. I wish I couldn't have access to the second season episodes right away. Too bad that it's not available yet. Surviving the Cartel is one of the greatest TV shows of our generation.
