Awful writing that even puts Naren's previous flick Mafia: Chapter 1 to shame! Maaran undoubtedly squanders talents like Dhanush, Samuthirakani, and Ameer in a weak af screenplay. Glad this went straight to OTT.

Movie is decent thriller but not something exceptional. Style is the department the movie focuses and movie does justice to it . Danush as usual is a delight to watch and this isnt anything like Karthik Narien's Dhruvangal 16.

The story fails to captivate, being utterly uninteresting.

The screenplay proves to be a bore, lacking creativity and originality.

The routine making style further adds to the film's lackluster quality.

Dhanush's performance brings nothing new to the table, leaving his potential entirely squandered by the director.

The questionable casting of Malavika Mohanan in significant films is no longer a secret, as her presence fails to make a meaningful impact.

Karthik Naren seems to have reached his creative limit, signaling that it's time for him to step aside.

Overall, this movie disappoints on multiple fronts, with lackluster storytelling and underwhelming performances.

I had great expectations from karthik naren , because of his story and screenplay. After D16 , nothing turned out good.

This movie is just about a journalist who writes truth. No message is conveyed.

Didn't expect this from Karthick Naren!

Idk why they took Malavika for this film, why not take a heroine who speaks Tamil instead of giving a chewing gum to cover her dubbing mouth sync!

Average music, crappy screenplay.

Avoid this if possible!
