No matter how educated, advanced or rich you become, it doesn't matter if you don't have your parents or well wishers around you. How you disrespect or disown your parents today, your children would do the same with in your future. They are quick learners, aren't they? Don't know come most of the people miss this basic simple point.
Anyhow, loved Prakash Raj, Brahmanandam & Ramya Krishnan in this movie. They acting never fails us and the story just fits in with their characters.
One of the best emotional family drama, the movie runs on the lead actor's perspective with underlying concept of Indian theatres.
The occurrence of events in the storyline are quite realistic and relatable!!
The entire lead cast has showcased us the brilliance of the performance!!
As the new conflict points arise during the narration still the main motive always remained same which makes it a bit predictable... yet a good way of storytelling.
Prakash raj, as usual he is the best. He lived in that character of Raghava rao. His wife played by Ramya Krishna.. she has become a lot matured and too good.
Brahmanandam, a friend of Raghava.. my god he did a fantastic job. I have never seen him play such a versatile character apart from just being a comedian.
The story is all about a retired stage artist who has to face his next generation kids and not able to live with the their ideology revolving around money 💰, even at the cost of fighting with their parents 😞
There are moments where you will end up with tears in your eyes!!
Also some places, where it feels like the movie is going slow !!
Overall, i liked it. It's a good message to all the youngsters to take care of their parents.
Rangamarthanda's family conflict seems age old and so is the drama surrounding it. Be it the way, their daughter in law uses her daughter to convey she doesn't want the in-laws living with her or how the free spirited daughter starts ill treating her parents, reminded me of those late 80s, 90s films. But what stood out is how Prakash Raj's Raghava Rao deals with these scenario. There are couple of scenes specifically written to showcase Prakash Raj and Brahmanandam's range as actors and they both excel. Ramya Krishnan's role could've been etched better than just a loyal wife.
Overall, despite the slow dated narrative, this is worth watching for the two legendary actors' standout performances.
The story items if a poetic ironical events that play out in the life of Prakash Raj's character, Ranga Marthanda. The story depicts the different characters that perform their play in the stage of life.
Must watch family movie.
