Return of Hanuman

This is my favourite childhood movie which never goes from my memory 😀. Even I don't know how many countless times I have seen it, but still wanna watch it more. Behaviour of Narada, Brahma and Hanuman makes very interesting. Usage of modern technology by Gods is just fun to watch. This movie changed my view on cartoon movies a lot. Whoever remember these characters - Two scientists, Kute wale raksash, Army of monkeys, Alien 👽 news channel reporters, these characters are unerasable & always make me laugh. The opening song when Hanuman travels earth 🌎 for first time and dances with Statues, Sharks🦈, Cricketers, etc. gives me goosebumps. Am a late 90's born kid, today in my early 20's and when I first saw the movie I was 7 years old. And still feel excited to watch the movie 😻. Far better than many non-animated movies. Whoever remember this dialogue - 'Maruti kuch different hai' 😆 If you are not from Indian culture, am sure you won't like the movie 🍿, because it seems so illogical and ironic to you. Indian culture is full of such characters, and logics. Only a Indian can feel the fun of the movie. But you can still enjoy the cute voices and songs.

Best Indian cartoon of its time. With lots of humour and good messaging for children to preserve nature.

Cinema at it's finest. The way the characters are written and even though it's a children's film, the moral values that one can learn from it is a thing to behold. The pacing of the film is perfect, with everything coming together in the final act. The bonds formed in the film along with joy of friendship and the fear of being bullied, the story touches the basic feelings which makes us human and also allows us to introspect our own inner values and check whether we are in line or not. A perfect film to the core. The way Lord Hanuman urges the kid to stand up for himself and fight, truly motivating.

Jai Shree Ram Jai Bajrang bali.

This movie was unique in every sense, in fact still is, because I haven't seen a single movie released that was better than this one or atleast as good as it. This movie sets a precedent on how movies on hindu mythology DO NOT have to be serious at all to convey a message. They just need to have the right mindset and humor and most importantly, they must have the special, serious moments that make them unique. And this movie nailed that in ever aspect. I hope we have more movies like this one.

I recently discovered "Returns of Hanuman". Now I really regret that why didn't I watch it on big screen. And thats the reason that ROH didn't do well on box office cos we all missed it on silver screen. I am very much sure that ROH would be discovered by larger population in near future (and its becoming a trend with all Anurag Kashyap' movies).

ROH is not a master piece but I will say it is a first brick in the wall. I hope this would inspire many others and soon we will watch our own high budget animation movie. Actually I got scared after watching Koi Mil Gaya, Krish etc. cos it was starting a wrong trend. But ROH breaks that notion and promises a bright future of intelligent Animation/SciFi movies.

Though ROH is a sheer mimic show of bollywood, mythology, politics etc but still I found it fresh and creative. Movie has got nothing but a mind blowing pace. Script of ROH takes lots of pressure from other departments because of budget constraints and Anurag smartly handled it.
