Higuita is a very unique and must watch movie. The direction and the writing is simply superb and quite mind boggling. A film that gives thrills and chills yet with no bloodshed or romance. Its a strong focus on the political side of our land, one might call it a 'political thriller'

The movie's star cast with Suraj Venjaramoodu, Manoj K Jayan, Dhyan Sreenivasan and Indrans is brilliant, the actors have played their questionable yet eccentric roles in an amazing manner. The music has been done well to support the visuals in a nice ambience.

The direction in the movie for a first time director is remarkable. The plot line really has you on the edge of your seat and has such an unexpected suspense one could never imagine of.

Higuita" is a political thriller that tells the story of a political leader in a unique way. The movie successfully maintains the suspense throughout and delivers a well-handled climax. One of the best aspects of the film is its portrayal of the leader, Mukundan. Unlike typical movies, "Higuita" does not depict Mukundan as either entirely good or entirely bad, but rather offers a more nuanced and complex portrayal of the character.

The casting in "Higuita" was spot on, with all the actors delivering impressive performances that did justice to their roles. Shyam Sreenivasan, in particular, demonstrated his ability to handle serious roles with ease. Suraksha, meanwhile, delivered yet another remarkable performance, as she always does.

While the second half of the movie did experience a slight lag, the powerful and exciting climax more than made up for it, leaving the audience on the edge of their seats.

When I'm rating this movie, the overall rating of the movie is 7.2. After watching a few clips on YouTube and surfing on the internet to know the IMDb rating, decided to watch the movie, but the movie was quite depressing that the movie is full of lags and very poor directing. May be the script seems to be ok, but really hated the direction.

About the acting. There is nothing special or something new in the acting of the lead Suraj Veranjamood. And before getting into the main content, the comedy which was tried to be done for the intro of Dhyan Sreenivasan was really boring. Overall the movie never deserves a rating above 5.

A wonderful political thriller with some great performances from Suraj Venjaramoodu, Dhyan Sreenivasan and Manoj K Jayan. Suraj as a political leader has excelled in the movie and proves yet again why he is regarded as a brilliant actor in the Malayalam film industry.

The cast is superb and the story revolves around a game played by the politician relating it with the football legend Higuita.

A well written story that brings out emotions in the glowingly benign views of human nature. Great scenes within the excellent locations of Alleppey and Kannur are shot very well with some thumping background scores and music in support. Unexpected twists and a great climax in the end makes it a must watch movie. Go for it in theaters now!
