Avis à la une
About 5 minutes in, I felt really soon for Bruce Greenwood, who I think of as an actual movie star. I cannot imagine what dirt they had on him to blackmail him into being in this, well, I will call it a "film".
About 6 minutes in, I realized I felt sorry for Tiffany Thiessen, which honestly I did think was possible. Not just for me but for anyone.
Along about 7.5 minutes in, I specifically looked up stuntman Simon Northwood, who was playing an unnamed Commando, just so I could know the name of the stuntman I was feeling sorry for for being in this film.
Then at about 9 minutes, as the escaped cyborg (?) was being confronted by the genial country cop, all that evaporated. Suddenly I was overwhelming sorry simply for myself for watching this much of this film.
Don't be sorry; learn from my mistake.
Straight-to-rental cyborg flick co-written and directed by John Stead which is not bad, with some decent acting from once known television actress Tiffani Thiessen of Beverly Hills 90210 since this film showed some things I've never saw before on a cyborg film. Situation is, cyborg escapes from gov't facility whose supposed to be the perfect killing machine. He gets chased by men wearing black clothing, orders to kill, execute and facilitate. They're in turn, turn out to be the real bad guys making the cyborg itself to be sympathetic. As the film progresses then with the help of the cop held hostage played by Thiessen, after the rapport she pursues to finding out his origin. With the few action scenes it did have is nothing in comparison to the unique approach of this "cyborg genre" is more fascinating than anything else the film has to offer! All I can say is that with a bigger budget, this film might've been better despite some of it's plot holes- they're are easily overlooked. Influenced by the likes of "Terminator" and the "RoboCop" films, this one does offer a different spin to it which is why it deserves a pass!

- AnecdotesAddison Holley's debut.
- GaffesWhen the El Camino is pushed over the cliff, it is obvious there are no people in the car. Also, as the car turns over (in slow motion) there is no drive shaft - so it couldn't have been driven shortly before being pushed over the cliff.
