Avis à la une
And i cant wait to see the sequel to this coming up some 5 years from now, because this is really a trip into the unexpected.
its an overwhelmingly made comedy on the unfortunate among us, deliberately or not, its so twisted and fun so if you havent felt strapped to a chair from excitement, then this film will. its a flickk made up on 4 short stories that are extremely loose connected, one better than the other and so on, but the witt and the act are just amazing and the idea will for surtain be copied by some large film production company in the usa im sure, but they can never steal that spanish heart and soul and landscapes that are screened here.
the acting are academy award worthy on at least 4 caracters. the production is merely flawless and if you like comedy without the forever and everlasting verbal connotation like in stand-up comedy, and like the idea of pranks and good situation build up that makes you laugh 10 seconds before it happens this is a go for you.
what surprises me most is how musical score can dominate and cooperate itself into motions of emotions, and if i could get a tape of the scoreline i would have blasted the subwoofers out of the building.
so im old and grumpy, much like the caracter in story number two who likes sunrises, and i can only say that this is the best made tale of the unexpected from the least expected country when it comes to comedy, so run to the cinematheatre near you for this is fun. its a ten star recommend

Viewing this movie, as an italian "cinema lover", it's impossible for me not to remember the great film "I Mostri" directed by Dino Risi in 1963, who starred Vittorio Gassman and Ugo Tognazzi among the other character actors belonging to the "crème de la crème" used to perform during the Sixties in many works of the so called "Commedia alla Italiana". But that was (and still remains) a Masterpiece of the European cinematography!... In "Historias Lamentables" Director Fesser makes use of a certain amount of latin "black humour" with the help of a good cast of actors but the four stories are weaks and someway predictables. That said, if you have two hours to spend lightly it could be a nice choice.
A Spanish comedy.
Several stories intersect in which the events, although isolated, for the protagonists have an impact. From a man who encounters his past and his purposes change, a son who fails to look good with his father, a woman who tries to scam an immigrant, and a con artist who does not know how to be held accountable.
Quality.
Entertaining
With a spectacular epilogue.
He has the same humor and acidity of champions, he is the same director.
Use the same formula as the movie "Wild Tales"
He talks about life itself and sometimes how we dodge things and not face them, how little resilient we can be.
A nice movie to spend the afternoon.
The drama, the comedy, the suspense , is a well made storyline, is just wonderful from beginning to the end, best movie of 2020
My apollogies for using spanish but this phrase define such an excellent movie. Funny and with a clever sense of humour what is so hard to find(that osciles between black humour and playing a lot with the prejudices).
Don't be afraid about the two hours of duration; doesn't feel hard at any moment.
