The film rates itself.

The line from Detective Munce just about sums it up: "Gremlins... it's a f$@!ing film. Watch it, it's a classic!"

So true, a classic. Unlike this film.

All Around Poor

Poor filming, poor directing, poor acting, poor fight choreography, poor script, poor continuity, poor character development, poor concept. I used to be a Seagal fan, but I am finally realizing he has nothing left in the tank. Was hoping for at least a watchable and somewhat entertaining film. Unfortunately, my expectations were not met in either case.

Mindless with lousy acting

Should one expect good acting from a sub B movie? Perhaps not. How about an actual plot that isn't a rehash of every other revenge film? How about Mr Seagal without that fake New Orleans accent?

Didn't they pay Steven Seagal for this film? What was he doing there? Wasted 1.30 hours for this trash.

A scene left on the cutting room floor featured the character Detective Ray, played by DMX saying "You can't handle the law", followed by a quick zoom in to the face of Augustino played by Seagal, who then mumbled, "The law, I'm beyond the law". The scene was considered too cheesy, even by this movies standards.
