Grey Sea

A touching film with a nice message at the end. It was nice to have some humour, despite the depressing subject matter, and while I can't say it was a happy ending there at least was something hopeful about Mark coming to terms with the past and slowly moving on. His portrayal, in fact all the characters portrayal was very realistic and relatable.

A fantastic film with immensely talented actors and crew. It really shows the importance of forgiving yourself when nearly everyone else has, even for a mistake that cost the life of a loved one. The interactions between the characters feel real, and jokes are put in at the perfect moments and feel natural rather than shoehorned in for cheap laughs. All things that flow together to make you realize just how bad of a place that Mark, the protagonist, is really in.

You can feel the hard work, care, and passion that went into the making of the film. It's a must see movie that, despite the sad story, will make you smile in the end. Hopefully there will be more to come from the directors and writers in the future.
