This anime is pretty different from all the animes out there. Most of the anime have protagonists overpowered from the beginning or get so through training but never been cautious . Which is opposite here, our hero is overly cautious as the title gives away. He is the only one who can save the world but will he ever be really prepared ? All interactions between the two main characters : goddess and our hero are just pure fun to watch. And the Seiya's response are the ones to watch out for. Overall it's an awesome light hearted action packed anime . Worth your time and weekend.

The series is set up in a video game like world. As the title reveals, the hero likes to be thoroughly prepared and us suspicious of everything to a fault. The comedy in the show is superb, though some of it is not for children. The screenplay overtly focuses on the lead character and his possible romantic interest. Due to this, some other supporting characters are wasted. The story seems a bit rushed towards the end. Good thing as compared to other Netflix series is that the story completes without a cliffhanger with a promise of second season.

This review is coming after episode 7 and up to this point ive really enjoyed the show. It has some weak points such as its tendency to explain things in a unrealistic manner (like in the middle of combat to explain your tactical advantage, so dumb(though many anime are guilty of this)) but that aside, I find the show pretty hilarious. It is wonderfully and expressively illustrated. The wide range of excessive emotional reactions to the absurd behaviours of the protagonist give me a few good laughs per episode. It is also interesting to see some pretty well thought-out combat strategies the protagonist thinks of/reveals on some occasions, which gives it a balancing complexity.

I dont know if it really deserves an 8. But its enjoyable at an 8.0 level for very well-executed light-hearted fun.

The story has a few amusing breaks from the generic Isekai's, one of which can clearly be gleaned from its title, and the others being anywhere from amusing to a bit brutal.

Overall it's watchable, and if nothing else good Isekai filler as we wait for new English Dubs (don't judge) for the spring 2020 content that's all been delayed.

Pro's:

• Amusing character flaws for most of the cast.
• Moderate character development, some of which won't been clear until later.
• Good justification for the OP protagonist.
• Backstory for the "Ditzy Goddess" trope giving it a purpose in the story other than humor.
• Worthwhile twist connecting most of the unresolved / nagging story issues (though many will see it coming).
• Variety of humor styles from slapstick to deadpan, etc.
• Some fun twists on classic cliches.
• Consistent Animation.
• Good sound track.
• Closure on this Story Arc.

Con's:

• Fan service, it's not that I dislike it, just would rather have more story.
• Some overly drawn out periods of "training", we get it, he's cautious!
• Story can be cheese heavy at times.
• Animation can be a little cheesy at times (eye bulging, etc.).
• Not a fan of the animation style overall.
• (English Dub) not a fan of some of the Voice Actors.

"Cautious Hero" falls in the Fantasy, Harem, Isekai with a good splash of Comedy here and there.

I was looking forward to watching this as I expected another bit of humour, similar to the Devil is a Part timer, and I did get that. Especially at the beginning. It was rather funny but I quickly though that the humour by itself was not going to carry this. I was correct and the show quickly introduced new aspects and story arch, in the end it was one of the most moving shows I have ever seen. That was totally unexpected and it was a pleasant surprise. There was fan service, but strangely enough a lot of it was female focused. I enjoyed it and it was funny at points, but this is not a typical harem isekai and I really found that refreshing. Don't get me wrong, Seiya gets a lot of admirers, but he simply does not care. He's not embarrassed of awkward, its just of no interest to him and that is another interesting theme. This is great, you must watch it.

The setting is very attractive, especially for me. But the storytelling is quite a few poor. It's just like someone immature who gets a great enlightenment. Anyway, I was still enlightened from some aspects. And, never consider the second season.

This is one of the best anime in this season really great and worth watching , the comedy is top notch . and even if it's really funny it still has some dark moment and the action is well done too i really recommend this to everyone especially people who liked Konosuba

I think this Anime has a little slow start and the Characters can be annoying sometimes, but besides that they are pretty cool and well thought. In the end it even turns out to be a pretty good Story, which i honestly did not expect. So that and the fact that this show is just hilarious af, makes up for the slow start, i really enjoyed watching it, hoping for a season 2 Have Fun

I started watching this anime by chance on youtube. I really didn't have any opinion before watching it and i didn't even know the plot of this anime but I'm really glad i watched it. It's one of my most favorite animes and i really want to watch it till the end. I hope that the season 2 of this anime releases asap because i can't wait to watch what happens. The characters are very interesting and i truly had fun watching it. It's very funny and i really want to watch more of this. I think the voice actors also did a very good job. I recommend this to anyone who wants to watch a funny anime for weekend.

We can say this is very much similar to that of Overlord series i.e. an overpowered protagonist inside a game world. Animation wise it is nicely animated and great voice acting imbued with comic moments. A must watch for all anime lovers. You won't regret this.

All that I can say for you that never watch it is: Give a chance Bro! This anime is not worthless and even if you don't like it, at least, for sure, it will entertain you, I guarantee!

I find this anime very funny. There's not much of a plot also not much romance but still it would make your time. For the story I would give it 6* but because it was so funny that's why i gave it overall 8* i really recommend it to watch.

At first when I read the name and logic I honestly thought that I wouldn't like it that all, but after a while, I decided to watch it and it was surprisingly amazing. It was very funny as well. I would 100 percent recommend you to look at this show and at least watch the first 2 episodes before you judge it. After all don't judge a show or movie but its title ;)

Lot's of properly hilarious moments in this. Drawings are done beautifully through and through. Protagonist has plenty of charisma. No cliffhangers that would leave you frustrated, just a wholesome and satisfying watch!

It has a great concept but comedy is kind of weak till now

This is not a deep anime, its an entertaining anime. It got humor and action. It was slow at some times but overall it's great. The story is about a very cautious man and his perverted god supporting him. I am looking forward to a second season.

This anime series definitely got a lot of jokes and humor but there were many supporting characters they could've use in this storyline but the main protagonist makes fun of them.

I totally enjoyed the show. The comedy is epic and the storyline is great too. I especially loved the ending. Totally worth watching. At first I thought it'll be an extremely normal Anime where MC is overpowered but have some mental side effect (here overly cautious). But as the story goes on, everything started to make sense and some serious and tense situations are seen despite it being mostly comedy. Not much romance into it and luckily is not harem (cliche). In conclusion, its one of the best Isekai genre anine for me.

Let me start out by saying I really enjoyed this anime. The main character Seiya was cool and a lot of the side characters was entertaining. That said, if this had two seasons I don't think I'd watch the second because I couldn't sit through 12 episodes more of Ristarte... but that's me. If you like Isekai shows with humor and overpowered MCs you'll probably enjoy this one.

Cautious Hero is another action/adventure/comedy isekai that isn't meant for all people. It has content that some people won't like, specifically and especially if you're a feminist. If that's the case and you're looking for a female lead story, try Yashahime or something similar. There are things in this show that will trigger women, so this is something for people who have a sense of humor and an open mind. This show is just here for laughs.
