Avis à la une
I was leaning towards a 10 but I thought I should save it, but honestly, this anime is a 9.5 in my book. It's visuals are amazing and probably my favorite aesthetic of the season, the style and color pallet look amazing to me. On top of that the music is absolutely amazing, I have both op and ed saved to my playlist. The story is intriguing and keeps you waiting for the next episode keeping a detective theme with sci fi elements. The characters are done quite well and they all feel quite three dimensional. The anime excels in every category and I wholeheartedly recommend it.
This anime definitely is worth a watch.I do not regret watching totally in my top 10 this year.
First, I need to clear that this is vreat anime and worth watching. It has borrowed lots of ideas from the famous show Psycho-pass but it doesn't look like a copy paste. It has made the ideas for its own and I appreciate that. Although I like the experience it suffers from many plot holes and lack of character development. Don't get me wrong I love the fact that story is focused and doesn't waste the audience time with showing every characters background. But sometimes in order for story to move on we might need more out of the character. My major problem with this show is the quality of the anime and the lack of imagination in direction. The quality is not great. Character design and world building could a million times better. Imagine this had the quality and the artistic direction of Psycho-pass. Nonetheless it's a good anime with good ideas. I recommend it.
Inception meets anime.
-interesting concept and ideas that are well explored without the need to become overly philosophical.
-solid plot. Varied stories that comverge together for a final showdown.
-engaging, thoughtful and well-paced.
-has a good conclusive ending, but just open enough for a sequel if there were to be one.
-solid animation, if not spectacular - makes up for it with some solid art direction for the id wells.

- GREAT characters. All have their own personalities, even minor members of the ID team are personable

This is like an Inception movie made into a Japanese Anime Series. The story and how it's presented. The use of tech/virtual reality to explore a killers mind is quite something. It really details how broken, or just puzzled one's mind can be. Which I really find interesting, as it's done in a unique simulation way, and every case has something different to offer. Which is a major plus. The story was short and was not prolonged or made boring which is the best part.
Wakumusubi is a device in ID: Invaded used to complement the Mizuhanome System that aids homicidal investigations. This device detects the cognition particles that come from an individual's unconscious drive to kill. If a pattern matches a suspect, the particles are converted and uploaded to the Mizuhanome System, and an id well based on the individual's state of mind defined by the particles is created. The associated particles can be scanned again to reset an existing id well into a new form or with slight changes.
