Anecdotes
The movie was surrounded with controversy from the beginning. In the of the songs, the lyrics were "your skin is so fair that Beyonce would be embarrassed". This was just months after the huge BLM protests in the USA. The producers later changed the problematic lyrics.

Gaffes
The flashback is shown in 1997 when Gupt and Dil to Paagal Hai are shown running in Theatres however Gadar Ek Prem Katha which released is shown also in the theatre which released in 2001.
