We Are Lady Parts

Such a unique show and so enjoyable that I binged it all in two days and now I'm sad there's no more to watch! All the characters have such vibrant personalities and are incredibly likeable.

This show also had me in absolute stitches and I can't wait for another series!

I was a 50+ white brit male with a boring afternoon ahead of me and something intrigued me about the name and I read the review in the Guardian and thought this might be a bit of fun. A good decision.

It is, amusing characters, sweet story, good and bad music but mainly lot of laughs.

Is anyone else enjoying all the dudes explaining "what punk really is" in the reviews here? What a bunch of turds. This show is fun. It has a good energy. It's great to see another take on punk. Maybe this doesn't fit the male world's equivalent of what they think punk is, but that in itself is more punk rock than these dudes could ever be.

This series is an absolute beauty. A fun ride roller coaster with lots of humor, sarcasm, feminism, Islamic prohibition, and obviously friendship and family.

Just imagine 4 Muslim girls wearing hijabs and bourkha were played a rock song in a punk band, how it seems? Yeah, that's kind of interesting this series is. Moreover, this is a sitcom. I mean there's lots of comedy, or should I say situational comedy! And sarcasm and funs.

And all the characters are refreshingly unexpected, complex, funny, self-portrait and endearing. Girl's power, witticism, and obviously punk rock. The story and screenplay were good enough to engage the viewers until the end. And interesting, funny too.

The lyrics were too good. Acting skills, anyone could have stunned with their acting skill. The cinematography and the directing were good. The main fact is, I'm in love with this series. Thank you Nida Manzoor and her teams.

Yes I am a Muslim woman and sure I wouldn't do some of the things the girls did BUT SOME GIRLS DO. And that doesn't make them any less religious or make you "real" Muslims better than them. I liked that it showed multiple different types of Muslim girls bc I've seen all those kinds. I understand it may not be entirely accurate but it's refreshing to see the same old representation that we get which is just girls taking their hijabs off for a white boy. And stop with this real Muslims can listen to music, like why did you even watch the show?
