Avis à la une
Plot? What plot? They meet in Georgia for a friend's wedding and you don't even meet that friend until almost the end of the movie. All of the characters are insufferable except for Sarah and Joey. There are a million other great rom coms from the 00's. If you watch this movie you'll waste an hour and a half of your life.
(2009) Not Since You
DRAMA/ ROMANCE
Co-written and directed by Jeff Stephenson, starring Desmond Harrington as Sam Nelson a struggling writer, who's just stopped by to a town near Georgia, for a wedding invitation. Unbeknownst, to find out that his ex-girlfriend, Amy Smith (Kathleen Robertson) of seven years had already been married to a guy who has just given him a lift from the airport. This is just one of many blatant unresolved issues we're showcased here which is obviously another cheapie 'reunion' type of movie. We're then introduced to more quirky characters as it's reminiscent of "The Big Chill", "Beautiful Girls", "Return of the Secaucus Seven" etc... Take my word for it, all of these examples and more are superiorly better. I practically had to re-watch the beginning twice to grasp hold of it's several characters since it's blatantly thrush at it's viewers assuming we would already understand their petty love problems. One of the most convoluted characters I had ever witnessed in a movie is when a guy who does nothing but drink beers all day and all night, I dunno, by the name of Joey 'Fudge' Fudgler (Elden Henson) and throughout the entire movie, the movie never shows him drunk. This must be the first. It's entire synopsis as well as it's dialogue is like something I'd write if I was still in high school trying to hit puberty. The only authenticity this movie contained, is the final few minutes, ending which can't make up for the garbage viewers had to endure.

This movie is so bad that I made an IMDb account just to warn poor, romantic-comedy- seekers like myself. Do not watch this movie expecting anything fun, funny, or even remotely entertaining. The plot is so predictable my pet lizard wasn't even surprised by the conflicts or plot turns. The acting is stiff and muted, like one is watching cardboard cut outs of the actors slowly soak up rainwater and crumble in on themselves. The tortured jilted lover character talks like he has kidney stones causing him acute pain, but has recently taken and is already feeling the slowing and slurring effects of a very potent narcotic. There is no character development, and the references to 9/11 are tawdry, cheap ploys for emotion. This may well be the worst movie I've ever seen. I can never get that time back. I would have been better off spending my hour and change collecting roadkill to taxidermy. It certainly would have been more rewarding, and left me with less of a disgusted after taste. Long story short; skip this utter waste of time, space, and money.
Most of the actors are about 10 years older in real life than their characters. This was boring. You can predict what the characters are going to say before they say it.
How often do white peoples go sit by the creek alone? Poorly written opportunities to talk, not great acting, & very little chemistry.
