Avis à la une
OK. These have to be some of the most self-absorbed people I've ever seen. Yes, it is reality TV. Yes, it is scripted.
But now they've brought a baby into the mix. They have gone through seven nannies? They have a maid. This is all fabricated, and ludicrous.
I have been approached to work realty TV production several times. The whole thing is a scam. I have always turned it down. Reality TV offers @#$* money, and treats everybody like @#$*.
This show was somewhat tolerable, until they brought in a baby. Just horrible.
And the whole 2017 "Versailles" fiasco? Ridiculous. Who believes this stuff? I've watched out of horrible fascination. I suppose that makes me complicit to garbage TV.
Again, reality TV is total fabrication. I hope that people really understand this fact.

Personally, I can't stand Jeff Lewis who is this compulsive obsessive decorator/contractor/ or real estate developer. I don't know. What bothers me about Bravo shows is the treatment of women in it's reality cast. The housewives don't count in this category and that's another story. I can't understand how anybody can say that Jeff Lewis has a big heart after he mistreats his staff around him. Jeff needs to seek psychiatric help. He's so self-absorbed. This season, he has his boyfriend working for him. He treats his assistant Jenni Pulos with his constant criticism and belittlement. Personally, I would love to see Jenni leave and start her own firm away from Jeff. He's too negative and self-centered. His relationship with his housekeeper Zoila is another story. Zoila does more than just clean and cook for him. In fact, he should be lucky to have her in his life. I would have left a long time ago if I was in that position. But Jeff Lewis himself is not a likable person. When I saw the episode where a customer was being abusive to his employees, he didn't handle it right. He didn't come to their defenses. Anyway, I don't like the guy. Watching him berate his staff is loathsome form of entertainment.

This is my, and many of my friends favorite show. Jeff is compulsive but that's what makes the show unique. He is generous, to a fault, and he expects loyalty in return. What people forget is that this is a TV show, it's not 100% real life, they are all actors in one way or another.
As for his homes, I would LOVE to own one. They are unique and chock filled with quality, they truly fit the Los Angeles area to a T. People in other states may not like the atmospheres he creates, but many of us in Southern California thrive on it and strive to attain it.
My questions are, when will the seasons be out on DVD and why is the season so short? It feels like the season just started and it's already over. Bravo has entered an era where many people would rather watch shows like Flipping Out, Project Runway and Top Chef than watching police investigating brutal murders. Bravo has made great strides, keep it up!!!!
