The Treasure 2

The treasure by its two parts marks the beginning of a new style of storytelling in Egyptian cinema. Exceptional in all elements directing, story, acting and music. The director Sherif Arafa was at the top of his career except the action parts which was a little bit less professional ;however, managing all those actors in that overwhelming movie is definitely not an easy task. Abdel Raheem Kamal's writing was not a surprise , I have seen many series written by him as "Al Khawaga Abdelkader" and it was also brilliant. In this movie he told us how each part of our history has his heroes who must chose between their love and their destiny. Regarding the acting no one can ignore the magnificent performance of Mohamed Saad who without doubt has proofed that he can act serious roles rather than comedy and I hope if he continues acting like this. All other actors were doing a terrific job except Mohamed Ramadan, in my opinion. The music was sensational also . Definitely it is a movie to recommend to a friend to watch and surely we need other movies like this in the future.

One of the best movies I have ever seen, part 1 is amazing and part 2 is more stunning. Egyptian Movies are in the right way... Mohamed Ramadan did a great job & Mohamed Saad was brilliant ... Ahmed Rezk acted also very well.

The best thing about this movie is the acting, everyone did a great job, but Mohamed Saad deserve an oscar for his acting. His talent was hidden with the limbi charchter that he used to play for many years, bu this movie proved otherwise, it proved that he is a grat actor not just a Limbi Character.

The direction and the storyline is one of the best in Egypt for atleast the last two decades.

The story is perfect and actors was Amazing Every one Do his best..

The film is just like the first part. The same 3 disconnected stories that are supposed to tie up at the end with the same cliches and historical references.

First we begin with the story, written in the poorest way possible. The film cuts between the 3 stories way too quickly, you never get invested in any of them, you do not connect with the characters or feel anything towards them, you always end up checking your phone.

Secondly, the acting. Every actor / actress in the film is over acting (and that's the least to say about it) even big and talented names like Hend Sabry. Other performances are just terrible. The only descent performances are Mohamed Saad's just like the first part and Mohamed Ramadan's.

Thirdly, to be honest the production set is amazing. The scenes in Cairo's Mamluk and Ancient Egypt are amazing. But this shows an important thing, if the film only relies on big names with minimum acting skills, big production sets without a decent plot, the result will always be mediocre at best.

I really hope we start shifting from just having big names and cool action sequences to only make a film.
